Hearing Silent's voice on the other end of the line made him stop what he was doing and step out of the flow of foot traffic and into a quiet vestibule to take the call. It was rare enough for her to call him these days and he wanted to be sure to give the call the attention it deserved. Black iPhone pressed to his ear he gave Frost a single finger 'one minute' signal letting her know that he'd catch up to her.

"Hello love. I forgot you'd put that awful ringtone on my phone until just......I see."

Ash realized rather quickly that this was a buisness call more than a pleasure one. A fact that was alright with him since he typically did much better in one realm than the other. Paying attention to the story she was relating to him he nodded even though there was no one there to see it besides a bunch of passing strangers and an impatient Frost.

"See if you can get her to visit the new lycan clinic opening. Vinny should be there or Sean. One of them could have a blood test done on her just to make sure. Let them help you bring the news and either bring her to the house or stay with her at her place and call me to let me know where you are. Either way I'll meet up with the two of you tonight after work and we'll get it all taken care of."

There was a lightness to his voice as he spoke to her, something that hinted at a smile that would never appear on his face. Something had changed in Silent, she was back to her old ways again and things were feeling more and more like the old days in slow degrees. It was enough to make Ash giddy, if that were even possible. In the background of the phone call he heard a toilet flush and paused.

"Was that? Are you in the loo?"

The picture in his head of dreadlocked Silent sitting on the bathroom counter calling him as all those poor innocent women passed around her wondering what all the talk of wolves and clinics was about had him laughing, on his darkly patterned inside. Some things never changed.

"Call me when you find out anything. Love you."

And that was as close to goodbye as he ever got before hanging up the phone. Call disconnected he slipped the cell into the inner breast pocket of his suit jacket and moved out of the vestibule towards Frost who had been waiting all of five minutes but looked as if he'd kept her waiting a year.

"Just wait Carmichael. Your day will come."

The strange looks Silent was getting from the women ranged from disgust to utter shock. The fact that Silent reactions to the women who stared longer then they should of ranged from her flipping them of to the even more lewd. But that was the way she was. Especially when she was in a good mood. Finding it hard not to laugh at their shocked gasps..So with a heavy heart she stopped if for anything…What she had to say to ash was far more important then shocking a few Barbie doll looking women. And maybe a old lady or two.
Tri-colored hues glancing over the reflection of herself in the mirror. With the occasional ‘ok’ ‘yup’ and what not.She didn’t mention that doing this..How alive she was feeling at the very moment.Or how giddy the sound of the silent smile she heard in his voice made her.
“Ok. Ill call them and get directions…And pre warn them about Nia”
Then he said that word. Loo. She tried…God knows she did. At first it was a few snorts. Then the snort burry the laugh…But it couldn’t be stopped.No there was no way in hell that it could have been advoided.And no looks or murmers of how the woman was mad was gonna stop the flood of laughter that followed. She was afraid he would hang up on her.
“Oh jesus Ash…Did you say loo!”
She was holding the counter gasping for breath.How bad was this. Ok Silent pull your self together.Smiling she would wipe the tears from her eyes.Why she found it so funny…She really didn’t know. Maybe cause she could see Ash in her mind in the middle of a crowd and out of nowhere starts talking about the bathroom. God she could only imaging the look on who ever was with him face.Classic.
“I love you . I’ll call you when I know whats going on. And don’t worry. She wount be out of my sight until shes comfortable with her beast.”
Smiling she would hang up and call Vinny.

It was about twenty minutes before she got out of the bathroom and rejoined everyone.Between talking to Ash and then explaining things to Vinny.Then of course the regaining her composure…It took a bit. Smiling she slid back into her seat between the Capt and Nia.
“Sorry my better half called.”
Silent would smile. They would eat and then she would have to con the capt into waving some kind of fae charm on the woman so they could get her checked out. Sure…Maybe shed be mad now…But in the long run Silent was thinking in the best intrest of everyone.

"Hey yo Sil it's Vin calling you back. The Clinic isn't technically open for business yet. We're still working out some legal issues, but bring your girl by. When you go in the front doors head to the right. The labs are down and to your left. I'll have Sean meet you there and he can do a blood test for you. Anything more complicated than that will have to wait. But if she's as far along as you said in your message then a blood test should show. Sean should be able to get your results back to you within a couple hours. Hope that helps. See ya at the house."
