-Swiveling around in his chair he held the phone to his ear as he listened to the words of his Kadra. Her voice something that could not be ignored. So as he pulled down the surgical mask he was wearing and stepped away from the table he ignored the sounds being made from the woman lying there. She would have to be patient. Her redemption would come, and as he left the warehouse and flicked out the lights he thought she'd enjoy being blanketed by the darkness in his absence.-
-The first order of business was to pick up the child, and so he called the child thing on her cellular and waited for Crawley to answer before asking where she was. A location was all he needed to guide him to the child. He would pull up in his car and lean across to open the door for her, and before she could climb in he gave her a cold glare with his black and white eyes. She knew that there was no shouting in Uncle Dexters car. No kicking of your feet. No sudden loud noises. No radio. No whining. No speaking unless it was necessary. No noise if it could be helped. No looking in the glove box or center console. No staring at him while he was driving. And especially, absolutely no touching him.-
-Once she was in the car he asked her to tell him how to get to Alyce. And that was the only talking he was eager to do. Information that would help him to meet his Queens directive. So the black cars engine purred as they roared their way through the city streets of Rome. It was still dark, but just barely. Dawn would break soon and he knew Shane was eager for action so he pushed the car harder to get them where they needed to go. Once they had arrived he climbed out of the car, knowing the child thing could be counted on to take care of herself.-
"Thissss one?"
-Asked as he pointed to the door of the place. And when Crawley affirmed that for him he used the sole of his patent leather dress shoes to kick the door in.-

-*When the door was kicked in Sojourn jumped up in bed and started barking like crazy. The sudeen flurry of activity in her home had Alyce leaping up in the bed herself. She was dressed in just a pair of white cotton panties and a shirt of Cologrio's when she kicked off the covers and stumbled off the bed and into a defensive position. Where was Cologrio? What was going on? She was so confused and so afraid all at once that she hardly knew what to do as a fine tremor went through her body.*-
-*Then a smell hit her. Snakes. And the fear gripped her so tight she could hardly stand. What had Cologrio done? When the two snakes came through the door Sojourn, her puppy, took a leap at the smaller one and bit her on the leg. The dogs jaw clenching tight as it bit the snake child and gave her leg a shake like he was trying to kill a real serpant.*-
-*Alyce wanted to call the puppy back. To stop him before he got hurt, but her wide blue eyes were stuck on the second figure in the room. A snake she hadn't met before in her time working for the Nest. He was so tall and so dark and the aura of cold that dripped off him made her knees wobble. Alyce's eyes grew wide and she opened her mouth to let out a scream that she knew no one would hear. If he was here, then she was going to die.*-
"Please."
-*It was all she could say as teardrops rolled down her cheeks. She had faced the torture at the hands of the Kadra before. But the look on this mans face didn't promise torture. It promised death. She didn't want to die when she had hardly lived.*-
When Uncle Dexter came to get her Crawly was the very prim picture of a school girl. She even had the uniform to go with the persona. Plaid skirt, knee socks, white blouse, the works. The school yard near the St. Francis Academy was empty at this hour but soon it would fill with kids and Crawly would have had a bit of time to play pretend with her new found friends before they went to class and she went to do...things. It was her way to pass the time. Maybe one of these days she'd go back to school, but since Mommy didn't say anything Crawly wasn't about to remind her of it. As far as the kid recalled she hated the whole routine thing. And Homework. Especially the homework. But assignments? Those she was always good at.
When Dexter broke down the door, Crawly squealed with delight. That part she just couldn't help. Big noises were always a favorite. Add to that destruction of property and it was like X-Mas in July.
The scent of warmblooded furries living under one room was too strong not to get noticed. Atop of that Crawly caught a faint odor of amonia. Puppy piss and fear. Looking up at Dexer Crawly was about to point out that the woman crouching on the floor was Alyce when something small and furry launched itself at the child. Last time the child was over they had no such creatures about so when Crawly looked down she was very surprised to find a puppy chewing on her leg. His sharp little teeth dug into her skin, ripping small gashes anywhere it could. Red blood was starting to stain its muzzle and Crawly cooed in delight as she reached down and plucked the small beast by the scruff of its neck, tearing it away from her leg and causing the dog to rip a thin strip of skin completely off. Ideally a child would have cried at that, but Crawly just shrugged the pain away. She knew from experience that it would heal perfectly fine, and since she got hurt, really hurt, so rarely the pain was actually a fun sensation. Completely forgetting her goal for a second, Crawly held the snarling dog in her arms while it twisted and tried to take another chunk out of her: "Puppy!" Her dark eyes were alight with pleasure as she squeezed down hard and was rewarded by the sound of the dog's bones crushing. With a squeal of pain, the animal pissed himself, some of the liquid dripping on Crawly's shoes. But she ignored that and promptly dipped her head to sink her fangs into the puppy's throat, pumping it full of enough venom to kill an elephant.
With complete disregard for the animal, Crawly tossed it aside to die out of her way as she closed the distance between herself and Alyce. Her thin little lips pulled back in a grin as she bent over, hands on her knees and promptly shook her head at the crouching wereleopard. "The sssssstupid Kitty Kat King hassss been very bad, and Mommy wantsss to ssssse you." Crawly left it at that. Giving away too much information to someone who really didn't need to know was a complete waste of Crawly's energy. Plus the fear that was coming off the wereleopard was nice, so why not keep that going for a bit longer?
The two snakes weren't very nice with Alyce when they bundled her into Dexter's car and what served as a trunk. Crawly did stick around long enough to get one of the puppy's dog collars, which were huge, and leashes as a souvenir. Harley would like them for sure. Or maybe Nori, Crawly had seen her Big Sister wear one from time to time. This one didn't have studs on it though, but still. Crawly was doing something nice for them and if they didn't fucking like it then fuck them.
It was still quiet outside when the trio arrived at Omerta. The staff was told to take a day off, so no one inside would be disturbed during what promised to be a rather interesting time. While Dexter ushered Alyce into the club, Crawly paused outside to scent the air. She felt the cold trail of Mommy's power leading into the club. Nori's was there too, fainter but familiar all the same. Harley's too. And blood. The scent of it floated on the air like a dark promise, and Crawly promptly grabbed her souvenirs and ran inside the club after her big, tall, Uncle Dexter.
