Llidya Tough-As-Nails Chapman was ready to cry. Not that she would show that in any way, shape or form. But the need and desire was there. Instead of tears however, a scowl was upon her face. She'd beaten the headaches into the nothingness of an everyday pain now, and the twitch in her eye had disappeared. She really wouldn't have minded going to see that Temperance chick, but didn't know when she in or where she was even. But that was really no excuse, as it would have been easy enough for the Detective if she had only put the slightest effort into it. Instead she just stressed as the wedding day of the wicked witch crept ever closer. And she was awaiting a return call from Silent about that coffee date. But she didn't want to see or hear from any of them. There were two...maybe four people she really felt like talking to at this moment, and one of them was at school, and the other was god know's where.
The button on the iHome was pushed as Llidya looked up at the sky. It was the best spot on the lands to do so, in her opinion. Nothing seemed as serene, pristine and calm, and not to mention furious and raging at other times, than the lupanar. The only thing that would make the scene more charming was a couple of Forget-Me-Nots she could be tearing the petals from in the classic, he loves me, he loves me not past time. It would have been pointless, as she knew the answer to that whether the flowers agreed with her or not. By the gods she missed him, and had known no other sensation that was as torturous and wonderful at the same time. It was a fantastical oxymoron of her emotions.
The sound of Rob Thomas filled the immediate area with his soft melodic tones of his love song, and a small smile crossed her lips as she closed her eyes, waiting to hear the sound of a certain vehicle over the hubbub of nature.
