The wall said nothing, and neither did the glass partition nor the magnetic white board. Chapman sure as hell wished they would.

"Well they're not, no matter how much you want them to. They're just inanimate objects." Llidya's head lolled to the side as she lifted those Bahamas-clear water hues to glare at the man. Dylan Morrison was standing there at the corner of her desk, hands in the pockets of the trousers of his three piece suit.

Son. Of. A. Bitch.

He turned his gaze to Llidya, a smile crossing his face. "Admit it, you know you missed me." Llidya looked away from him, staring at the wall, board and glass once more. He wasn't really there. So she was going to ignore him because he wasn't really there. Because she wasn't going crazy. She just wasn't.

They had quite a few bodies to check out. The dead animals in the ritualistic layout was her main thing, marked by a black pin on the map. There was a couple of more that had cropped up, marked in green on the map. There didn't appear to be any relation to her case, but Llidya wasn't going to overlook them. The dead body at the pool and the statue of Neptune at the Trevi fountain were still open and being investigated by the 'professionals,' so technically Llidya wasn't supposed to have those files, and yet there they were, sitting on her desk.

The photos from the ritual scene had been sent over from the department and she was looking at them decorating her wall. Morrison stepped away from the desk, and moved to the wall. Llidya pretended that he wasn't blocking her view (because really, he wasn't, because he wasn't there. But for someone not really being there she sure couldn't see through him.) and instead turned her thoughts to Silent's voicemail. She'd listened to it on the way to the office. She just needed to look and see when she'd be free to go for that coffee and shopping. She could use a new holster for her gun.

"Looks like a threat. You know, against lycans and other vampires." An irritated expression crossed her face as she bore a hole into the back of his head.

"Well duh. Someone doesn't just skin animals and make ritualistic markings just for kicks....well. Okay if they're budding sadistic serial killers they do. But I think this has a deeper meaning." Llidya nodded, pushing off the edge of her desk. She didn't care if the mirage followed her or not. Chapman leaned over to grab up her leather jacket and slide it over her shoulders when her phone rang. A glance was given to the now percieved empty space, looked like Morrison had decided to poof, before she flipped open the little peice of technology.

"Chapman." Maybe Frost and Jane would like to check out the other two stiffs. Llidya didn't know what they were working on right now, but it was always good to spread the work around, even if they were supposed to be working on it. "Good." The man on the other end kept talking for a moment before both parties killed the line. Time for Llidya to go pick up that dispatch tape.
