" Ash, this is Sevvy. Care to meet with me for coffee?. It's been awile since we have talked and I hope things are alright. I will explain my absence when we meet. Please let me know when we can meet."..

That was the message left on Ash's voice mail when she had faild to get him on the phone. Hopefully he would be avaible to meet up with her later. They had things to catch up on and she missed talking with him.

Listening to the message as he walked through the streets of Rome he was relieved to hear Severence's voice on the other end. Since they had come to Rome she had progressively gotten more and more distant and he wasn't sure why, but that was something he was more than willing to find out for himself. Turning down a side street that would lead him out onto a lesser thoroughfare he cut off the connection to his voice mail box and redialed Sevvy. By the time her own voice mail picked up he was standing outside the morgue where the latest in a string of bodies was being kept from his current caseload.

Before going inside to see Sphinx he left a message for Severence.

"I'd love to have coffee. There's a great turkish deli I can meet you at around lunch time. Or siesta or whatever these bloody romans call that period of the day where you can't find an open store in sight."

Ash gave her directions to the deli and told her to call back and confirm the meeting with him. Then he hung up. It was time to go to work. The last thing he said was.

"Miss you."

" Sevvy again, sorry I missed your call. I was, well.... " A pause was given as she looked over to the nameless woman who still remained unconscious.

" Occupied with fighting a ghost and saving a soul ". When one could not think of a more rational explanation it never hurt to just give the truth instead and Severance knew if anyone were to belive a wild tale like that then it would be Ash for sure. They needed to have a long conversation in order to make sure the details involving her absense were brought to light. She didn't want Ash thinking she had ran out on any of them.

"Sev..Sev..."

" Not now Ale"..

A nick name she often used with her brother.. And then whatever Sev was going to say was dropped as she returned back to her message for Ash.

" Sorry about that I have a distraction over here at the moment but anyways that sounds like a great idea and I look forward to seeing you. Count on me being there."..

The voice behind Sevy spoke out again but only a Sev.... was whispered before she spoke out her ending words to Ash and hung up ending the call..

" Miss you, see you soon "....
