"I'm beginning to think you don't like me any more, dearest.  I was calling to see if you could let me borrow a car for the evening.  I have an appointment to see this charming little Villa.  I guess I will have to settle for a car service.   Call me when you'd like to get together for cup cakes again.  Ciao."

Embri hung up the phone and dropped it into her purse, moving on with her evening.

:: Rowan was on her way home after droping off Xander's gift when her cell phone beeped at her.  Amazing how she managed to miss messages while the phone was within easy reach. Full bars her firm ass. After pressing the right keys, the Baroness checked her voice mail, frowning at the request.  Odd...Embriella should have had a car, or known when to aquire one on short notice.   Still Rowan supposed this is what friends did for one another.  Pushing the call button, she waited for the dialing to stop and held up the phone to her ear.  Tag now Embri's voice mail was It.::

Embri Darling, I think you're far too paranoid about my feelings towards you. I'd love to get together for desert...and my car is at your disposal whenever you need it.  Let me know where you can meet me, I'd like to hand over the keys personally.  Ciao.
