Hanging up the phone from returning one message, she quickly snapped it back open dialing a different number. She was never surprised to get the voicemail of the mage, as she was certain he screened every one of his phone calls.
"Marius, this is Embriella. I was calling to check on your progress with my order. I also wanted to let you know I have a sample for you, and have a line for another one."
Shutting the phone she stuffed it back in her purse and headed for the door. It was time to get ticking.
It was two days later when he eventually got the message from his voice mail. Business from both aspects of his life had kept him occupied, but he had not forgotten about Embriella, her order, or her invitation.
He was about to leave his home to return her call from another location and a hard line, when another thought came to his mind. He would contact her, but he would not use the phone.
Pouring himself a glass of wine he sipped from it and pondered the words left for him. Another sample? What could it be? Time was beginning to weigh heavily on Marius and with each passing day he felt himself becoming less patient to wait for an oppurtunity to present itself. Soon he would need to act for his own self interest.
