Jane was determined to find him. She had penned a letter to Marcus asking for his help. Last time she was at Bliss, Chad said that Marcus was in Tibet. So Jane didn't know when he'd get the letter or when she would get the answer to her need for help. That didn't matter right now. Back to where she had sent the bottle of wild turkey. Bliss. The whole Valentine's Day celebration thing was over. Still streamers and red tissue paper was all over the place. There was people sweeping it up. red rose petals every were. It was almost enough to drown in the smell of it. Heading over to where Chad was, a smile came to her lips. You could never frown seeing a bartender. They were the people that gave you the good stuff.
"Hey Chad, You remember that bottle I gave you to give to one of the vampires?"
He nodded continuing to wipe down the bar.
"I need to find him, you know where I can get in contact with him?"
Jane didn't have a warrant, so she could just check out the place. She didn't have that much clout. Right now asking Ash for that kind of favor would be pushing the friendship she was starting to have with him. Chad was saying that the vampire came and went. He didn't know exactly where he lived. Jane felt like he was lying. But couldn't say for sure. Maybe he was just scared of something, or telling her. Could have been the guns strapped to her sides. People freaked about those most of the time. So reading him was harder. Course he did work for Marcus.
"Hm, alright. Look if you see him, could you give him this?"
From her coat she pulled out a letter. Inside it was just a simple piece of paper and on that paper was:
Looking for you. We need to talk. -MJ
Underneath was the address of her hostel. She'd be there till tonight after that she was heading to the asylum. Spend a few nights before going out to her new home.
There was some work that needed to be done at her house. First Jane needed to learn how to pronounce the name of the place. Then she could work on the rest. The stables needed horses. She'd have to invest on a few show ones and a race horse or two. Maybe she'd drag ash with her in picking a few winners.
Giving Chad a look, that clearly said she knew he was hiding something. Then turned to leave. The sun was still out, so all good and bad little vampires were still sleeping. It would give Jane a chance to ride over to silent's, maybe she'd know something about the vampire. Tino was Primogen, and Silent had come over with him. She had to know something.
~Sitting at the bar at Bliss he looked down at the two letters in his hands. One was from Marcus, letting him know that Jane was looking for him. The other was from Jane herself. Seemed like lately he was being looked for all around. Setting the letters down on the bartop he pushed them across the bar towards Chad looking the blonde man in the face. Marcus trusted the man, and with each day that he was gone Azrael saw why more and more.~
"Tell her to meet me here....."
~Ironing out the details of the meeting Azrael would sign his name to a few more things that Chad needed help with, and then he would go off to find his dinner. All around him the little Happy Meals with legs were going about their business. Each and every one ripe for the picking. Too bad he had his mind set on other conquests.~
