The card was pulled from his wallet and tapped along the palm of the opposite hand as he measured his options. He needed to call as soon as possible to secure a meeting with the pack's Ulfric in order to have permission to pass through his territory.Part of him admitted to himself that passing through was all he intended while the other part wanted to join the pack. The second part out weighed the first part and West knew it had mostly to do with the need of the red wolf. The moment he had laid foot in the city the wolf had pulled and pushed at him restlessly trying to get out. It sensed the ever calling power of the top alpha and wanted to go to him.
Chartreuse Amber's rolled over the name Llidya Chapman. The hat was pulled from his head and dropped to the bed of the hotel followed shortly by himself. He tossed the card down along the bed and took to unlacing his boots, after pushing them off he would finally take up the card again. Stretching out along the bed he would retrieve the hotel's phone and with quick fingers punch in the woman's number before he changed his mind. He had hoped she'd answer but when no answer came he sighed and prepared to leave a message.
Hey Amazon, crap I mean Llidya. This is West, I know it's been a few days since we've had coffee and all darlin but could you give me a ring back as soon as ya get this?. I would be mighty obliged. I was thinking we could talk and perhaps ya can also direct me in the direction of your Ulfric.
Llidya woke up in the middle of the Lupanar that morning, unaware that she had fallen asleep on that patch of ground until the sun started creeping through the trees. She rolled over and pushed herself up off the grass. A moment was taken to stretch out her muscles, they were a bit in protest from sleeping on the hard ground, but it wasn't unpleasant.
Llidya started back to the house, wondering if she'd run into the multi-color dredded Loopy as she tried to get into her room. It was a little late in the day, at least for Llidya. A lot of the pack had already left to go do their things for the day. She went into her room and grabbed some stuff to take a shower.
After that was done, she changed into standard military BDUs, tucking her pants into her combat boots. She had on a black t-shirt, and she spent a few moments to braid her hair. The long sleeved matching camouflage shirt was shrugged onto her shoulder, the color of the outfit a solid black. The Spartan I units BDUs had always been black. Llidya picked up her phone and saw the little message symbol. She picked up the device and started listening to the messages as she made her way outside. When she got to West's it made her smile. The others were from Margie and Jimmie about what was happening in their part of the world, business wise.
Llidya pulled herself into that Silverado and revved the engine, giving West a call back. His was the only number with no name attached to it, so she hoped it was his.
One, two voicemail.
"Hey Cowboy, why don't you meet up with me at a little joint known as Kyotakin? It's a sushi joint just off of St. Peters Square. I'll see if I can't get the Ulfric to meet us there as well. See you in a bit."
Some time after West had made the phone call to the amazon he had fallen into a deep sleep one that had it's fair share of disturbing images. He sat up quickly sending the files he had been working on to the floor in a flutter of disarray. Sweat glistened along his fore head and the red beast circled around in anticipation of what ever it was that had it's host in such a frantic state of mind. Heart was pounding and for a moment he felt a bit of confusion. He hadn't remembered falling asleep and really was not sure what had awoken him. Yellow eyes brushed over the phone which was displaying a red flashing light signifying that the gent had voice mail.
A shake of his head to clear away the messed tangles of long sandy brown hair followed by a hand rubbing over his face to try and wipe away the sleep there. Leaning to his side he reached out to capture the phone and slid it to his shoulder holding it firmly pressed to his ear. A push of buttons then when it prompted him to enter his pass word he did and waited. Before the voice slid out of the phone he remembered he had called Llidya and had asked her to call back. Crap he did not remember if he had left her the number and then her voice filtered through his ear and the cow boy grinned to himself. It seemed she had caller ID which in some cases was not a good thing but in his case it was. When she gave the destination of the meet and greet spot he took to writing it down along the note pad sitting on the desk next to the Holy bible. When the call ended he hit the clicker then shifted on the bed to grab his boots then reached over and entered Llidya's number for the second time that evening.
Hey Amazon, it's cow boy again, I got your message and will meet up with ya all tonight. By the way you can reach me at my cell phone or my pager.
Both numbers were left and then the phone dropped and West up and heading to the bathroom.
