It was late when she returned to the pack house, later then she anticipated, however with the days that she had spent locked up in the pack house her first jaunt out left her with many things to take care of.  A six hour conferance call between Michael back in Boston, Anthony here in Italy and Loke as well.  Presented with a new laptop, Michael had to walk her step by step through the process of personalizing it to herself.  It was some fang-dangled thing with a thumb print recoginition on the screen itself.  Through the video conferance she was able to finally get it set up to herself.  Short of having someone cut off her thumb and use it to access the laptop no one, was going to be able to break into the machine.

She left the office feeling a little bit more secure, now that Michael and Anthony seemed to be meshing better of late. Nothing like a tragedy of mechanical proportions to bring two very different Attorney's together.  Although the haggling over what she chose to spend her money on was seriously getting old.  It was her money wasn't it?   Although there was a bonus, something she had not realized that Anthony and Michael had plotted together.  Most of the work she had back in Hawaii, the personal stuff was moved closer.  Out of the storage facility in Madrid to Rome.  Anthony had handed over the keys, both himself and Michael looking way to confident in themselves.  They had also plotted and managed to get most of her work to be accepted to a few galleries.  Surprizingly the Hawaii scenes where a huge money maker, no one had forseen the price that the paintings would go for now that the Island was nothing but a pile of smoking lava.  So now, she would have income coming in, although now it was up to her to keep that income flowing with new paintings, new sculptures and anything else Loke could get her hands on to use in expressing her fondness of art.

It was dark and she was exhasted but much happier, at least now she could go over figures and look at the books herself.  Mind you, not that she actually did the books herself.  But she could look them over and spot trends.  And despite how bad the economies of the world where doing, she seemed to be doing okay.  The three remaining tattoo studio's where still kicking, with of course the one in Vegas pulling in three times more then the small shops in New Orleans and Salem.  But so far so good.

It wasn't until she pulled onto the drive of the packhouse that her high beams caught the tarp over some thing.  The bow on it was just begging her to rip it off.  Although if it was for her she had no clue.  She pulled around parking her BMW beside Ash's Hummer before she climbed out, new laptop safe in the bag that was tossed over her shoulder.

People always say curiousity killed the cat, but wolves were known there curious nature as well.  Setting the alarm she moved toward the tarp, pausing beside it.  She glanced around and then moved closer the bulky shape something that coule resemble a motorcycle.  Hand moved to her side as she lifted her blackberry and held down the pound key to unlock it.  Before her fingers reached for the card, she held the blackberry over the card as she flipped it open.

Amber eyes flickered over the letters and the smile that lit up her face was pure happiness.  Stowing her blackberry back at her hip in it's clip she reached for the bow and gave it a tug before pulling it away and drapping it over her neck.  The tarp was grabbed and hauled off it before the beauty of the gleaming black bike could be fully appreciated.

She took a step back and gazed in wonder at the bike, she really had good friends.  Not only had Llidya helped her get back her laptop but she had replaced the blown up bike.  Her heart warmed considerably even as her breath frosted in the air and the heat seemed to build up in her eyes for a very long moment before she had to blink to clear her sight.

She gave a faint sniff before drapping the tarp back over the bike to keep it the moisture of the night air dewing up on the shiney crome and black paint.  As much as she wanted to jump on it and ride to her hearts delight, it was late.  The blackberry was removed from her hip again as she headed toward the house.  Thumbs moving over the keypad as she sent a text back to Llidya.

"Thank U so much for the bike, Llids!  It's beautiful, I <3 it!!  You truely are a gr8 friend.  I <3 U!!"

She sent it before digging out her keys and unlocking the door and letting herself back into the house.  The door was locked behind her and her keys left on the table beside the door with the rest, in case her car was needed to be moved.  Shoes where kicked off at the door to keep from tracking mud and debris through the house as she moved quietly upstairs to her room.
