Ariadne had avoided Hannibal and Trinity since the day they took down the Church. She knew she needed to explain to him why she pulled the gun on him. In her mind she replayed the action in slow motion. Her first thought was to protect that woman. The woman with golden eyes. She could see everything happening as if she wasn't there. Watching from another point of view. Her body splattered in blood and bits of brain matter. Her hand reaching for the gun, swinging her body around to point it at Hannibal's back as he was about ready to pierce the were-tiger's heart with a silver stake. Her words. The look on Hannibal's face. The way he backed away. It had to have been a bad dream. That hadn't been her. That wasn't her that had hurt him like that. Then Trinity and the look on her face when Ariadne reached for the were-tiger.

Fingers pressed to her eyelids, pushing back the memories. That hadn't been her. She knew it was. What was wrong with her? She should have killed the woman. The woman with her wild golden eyes. Pushing her hand through the dirty blond hair, Ariadne stood from her chair. She couldn't avoid it any longer. She was slipping. It started all with that man, the man in the cemetery. If Ariadne was true with herself, she would admit it had started with Hannibal. Befriending him, trusting him, keeping him alive, and later loving him like family. Hannibal was the root of her spiral. Though, Ariadne would never admit it. Not to herself, not to Hannibal, not to anyone. Hannibal couldn't help his bloodline no more than she could.

Grabbing her jacket she pulled it on, gloves came next. Exiting her trailer, she walked across the caravan grounds over to Hannibal's trailer. One gloved hand moved to knock on the door hoping he was home.
