She spoke into the phone as she walked along, following that particular scent trail.
"What's going on Llid?"
"This bitch just set my car on fire. I don't know how bad the damage is, I left before they showed up to put it out. That bitch, Embriella Griffen, she did it. And she's going down."
"Calm down Llid."
"Fuck that." She was fuming as she walked along, her Bahamas-clear water hues glaring at the setting around her. There was nothing Mouse could say to her that could calm her down. It was her damn car! You don't fuck with her car. "The bitch set my car on fire."
"You said that."
She stopped in her walk, and took a deep breath. "Get a crew to get my car. The cops shouldn't have towed it yet. Then get a crew to get my stuff at my house."
"What about the warehouses?"
She pressed her lips together, a hand coming up to her nose. "Leave 'em for now, I guess. I've got to track this chick down and take care of business. Did the guys check out the laptop?"
"Yeah. Llid, there were some files copied." She swore under her breath, and started walking again. "Anything important?"
"I don't know. I'll send you the file names and you can see for yourself."
"Yeah ok. Thanks Mouse."
"I'll get the crews right on the house and car Llid. And Llid?"
"Yeah?"
"Don't do anything crazy." At that warning, she just laughed. "Yeah, right. I'll check in on the crews in a couple of hours."
With that she hung up, and went back to stalking her prey. If it was the last thing she did before she left Rome, she was going to kill that thieving arsonist bitch.
