Lyliyana had been painting when the phone rang. She'd begun the hobby once again with a renewed vigor after meeting Gabriella, wanting to make her lots of paintings with her favorite color red. Lyliyana leaned around the canvas, looking at her cell phone. She set down the brushes and stood, wiping her hands as she reached the phone. She picked up the device, and with a smile, greeted the unknown caller. "Hello! Lyliyana speaking!" She tilted her head as she listened to the person on the other end, her smile brightening as she recognized the voice of her professor at the university. "Well hello Professor! How have you been?" She hadn't talked to him in over a year, and she missed talking to the man. He immediately began speaking in Russian, and she replied in Romanian. A giggle was lifted from her as he cracked a joke in Deutsch, and she replied in French. Apparently, he'd been trying to find her for about a month or so, and just now managed to track her down. The conversation seemed to settle on Italian, and they spoke about her previous work for him after she had graduated from the college. He mentioned wanting her to return for a job that he had been offered by a Corporation. He had declined, of course, rather enjoying his teaching job. But he had brought up her name, and they had seen her work. They had wanted her for the second choice, and now he was calling her for the job. "Well that just sounds fantastic! I think I will. I have a few friends that may want to come with me. I'll start packing immediately and let them know. Thanks Professor!" She hung up the phone, her happiness a brilliant light in the room. She turned back to the set of three or so red themed paintings she had done, and made note to herself to send them to Gabriella after she made sure she had everything packed. She just couldn't wait to get back to New York! __________________
