He had no real way of contacting the red headed little urchin, but he had a small job he could use her for. As Ishmael walked the cobbled streets of St. Peters Square he wasn't truly paying attention to the people around him. He was too busy in the world of his mind. Casting out the net of his power he read the passing thoughts of those around him waiting for what he was looking for. All around him the full spectrum of human thought and emotion passed over him. There was no such thing as secrets to him. It would take a special kind of master to hide their mind from him.

When he heard the thoughts of some street theifs he turned his head in their direction and let his gray eyes zero in on the one who seemed to be the more dominant of the boys. It was like DIckens almost. The archetype of the artful Dodger staring right back at him. The sight offered a certain measure of comic relief. Motioning to the boy he wanted he sent a sense of ease to the street kids mind. Something to keep him from being wary.

That extra measure seemed unnecessary since the boy came immediately, no doubt thinking Ishmael was looking for some two bit hustle. Reaching into the pocket of his suit he pulled out a money clip and slowly counted off two hundred dollar bills. They were slipped from the silver money clip slowly as he watched the boys eyes grow large and greedy. Really he could have managed without paying the boy at all, but why not throw the dog a bone.

"There is a young girl who I believe choses these streets to live. I very much need to see her."

Ishmael did one better than describing Mora to the boy. As he described her he used the power of his own mind to implant Moras image into the boys head so that he would instantly recognize her. It took a push of willpower but he made sure that the urchin would not just take the two hundred and run. A measure of mind control could go a long way.

"Have her contact Ishmael Goldman when you find her. Tell her I have work for her."
