It wasn't suprizing the trail went cold when they arrived in Barcelona. And it was only her persistant complaining to Harley that, they needed to rest, Faith and Nori that is. Although Harley was accomedating. They had found a quaint hotel that overlooked the town, a place where they Nori could settle down with both of her laptops and run searches. There was no flight plans or even train schedules linked to Memphis' name so that was a complete dead end. Once the three were finally settled into the quaters Nori instantly set up her laptops side by side and slid the earphone plug into the side of the first laptop. Fingers slid over the mouse pad before she clicked on her play list and let the screaming angry music of System of a Down wrap around her.
The network cords where connected and with the free wi-fi connection from the hotel she was able to finally get to work. Shane had given her an order, find the wolves, follow them. And she was not about to let Shane down. Fingertips moved over the main laptop keys as she accessed her multiple search engine's making sure to locate the two names she was given from Shane. Silent and Memphis. The only two names she had for the wolf pack. Dead black eyes flickered between each of the computer screens as she dropped into her own world of hide and seek.
Locals had to be changed and new searches tweaked to include Europe as a whole, and change everything from certain keywords to new ones. It was a tedious process making so many tiny changes but it would work in the end. Humans First never skimped on technology and being a IT geek didn't have any disadvantages so far. One leg was folded under her while the other was bent up and over the arm of the chair she perched in like some kind of stick bug. Looking over at the second laptop, eyes followed the searches, clicking on names that had any hint of the name Silent or Memphis in them. So far there was well over 1000 results and the search was still running.
She glanced up from time to time only when Faith or Harley would enter her vision or a light would flick on or off. She was content like a silent spider waiting. It was bothersome to have to click all the hits one by one but without her main CPU to do all the work for her she had to make due with what she had at the moment.
The Afternoon passed quietly into the Evening, outside the lights of the city where blossoming although she never once looked away from her computers for very long. The search finally halted with a daunting 3081 hits on the two names. She only paused long enough to look up at Harley as the red head dropped food off beside her with a smirk. She realized after glancing at the little clock on her laptop that 6 hours had passed and at least 12 since she had eatten last. She didn't even taste the food, simply mechanically kept putting it into her mouth before it was completely gone.
It was well past four am when she had gone through 2930 of the hits that she smirked. Her eyes burned agonizingly but that discomfort was simply put off. Leaning forward she loaded a webpage translator on the first Laptop and copied the URL and had it translated into English. The grin that crossed her lips was well deserved, the Land management Section of Rome had a very recent entry, well two rather for a certain lady named Silent. Two purchases a few days earlier, one a residential purchase and a the other a commercial purchase. Leaning back she finally allowed herself to relax, feeling the stiffness in her bones from sitting for so long undisturbed.
Cellphone was removed from her hip and she quickly typed out the message before clicking the few cell numbers that she had for the other snakes. Shane, Dexter, Deli.
"The wolves are in Rome. Harley and I will head there tomorrow, keep you posted. N"
The carrier crate that was sitting in the port was finally able to be given a destination. It would probably arrive in Rome before her but all would be good. Unhooking her second lap top from the network connection she closed it and set it aside going about to search for a suitable location that the Nest would need for when they all gathered. Using the skate park as a guide she searched the local commerical property available in Rome that might be useful to the snakes. Reaching for her pack of smokes she tried to shake one free, finding the pack completely empty from her constant smoking while working. She hadn't realized she had smoked a whole pack in the past 18 hours. Ticking her teeth at her own impatience she turned back to the laptop before frowning as she continued. Exhastion was building in the human as she felt her eyes growing heavier every ten minutes. Sometime around 5 am, or at least that was the last time she noticed the clock she fell asleep. Chin against her chest, hands tucked around herself in the uncomfortable chair leaving the couch that was waiting for her empty. After all she had told Faith to take the second bed since she was fine with the couch.
