It was over and done with. He'd broken the ties and now there was a sense of freedom. Ties? Yes, the love that Jace had wanted of him was tying him down, but not necessarily in a bad way. Someone, somewhere would enjoy those ties and being caught. Remy on the other hand, realized nearly too late that he wasn't ready. He wasn't ready to be tied down forever to one person.. To live the home and family life. He had tried offering a friendship between the two, instead of forcing themselves to live on the same island in uneasiness. Yet, after offering that friendship, it only seemed to drive Jace away. Which was fine for now, the man was a ticking time bomb. So, this evening what was Remy doing? The second that sun went down, Remy would take to walking. Nowhere in particular, just walking in general.

Eventually, he came across that splendid Town Square. Why? Well, he wanted to at least be able to enjoy watching people eat and drink. He couldn't do it himself unless it was a a nice buffet of blood. Slow footfalls brought the vampire to a small outdoor patio of a restaurant. Entering in, he ordered a table for one and a glass of Dr. Pepper. Why Dr. Pepper if he couldn't drink it or taste it? Because if he stared at it long enough, maybe he'd absorb it by osmosis or something. His attire for the evening had been simple. A simple t-shirt and jeans. The t-shirt was vintage style with dark blue arm cuffs around his biceps and same with the neck hole. The shirt itself was white with a sideways sign 'Roadkill Cafe', followed by a menu of such things. His jeans were low on his hips with light, stonewashed material, followed by black and white All-Star Converse shoes. His seat was next to a wooden low guardrail around the patio. Brown hair was naturally left alone. And that's where he'd be, people watching, no matter who went by or what they were. Anyone who went by was given a smile. And so he'd stay, enjoying his short time for the time being at that patio.-d-

To say the least, the new collection of paintings although advertised as Mature only, where already a huge hit in her gallery.  Something that would and still could be a toss up, depending on what religious groups found it disgusting or immoral.  And amid the most of it, she was there, watching, working, painting, simply living one day to the next without much pack interaction.  Although it was not her purpose, it just seemed to happen.  New collections always rose a stir and with it brought people, and people meant more paintings to sell.  It was an circle, a vicious circle that kept her even as a lycan tettering on exhastion.  That was probably why she was out walking the streets.  Simply trying to find someplace new to eat at she wandered almost aimlessly.

Head craned around suddenly, nose flairing as her beast went on alert.  Of course, this was all and good however her body had forgotten to stop and in her haste to recognize where the blood sucker was her body smacked into the door of a truck that had just flung open.  Of course, most people would have avoided it, though her eyes where elsewhere.  The air whooshed out of her chest and for a moment she saw stars.  Head turning just a split second for her crack it against the door handle.  Two steps back where taken as a few passing people couldn't help but laugh.  A shake of her head was given as she rubbed at ther red spotted forehead.  The owner of the truck quickling coming around the vechile to make sure she was okay.  She waved him off without care, claiming she was fine.  Her ego only bruised.

Since her body was still again, and fighting off the blush that was creeping on her cheeks, she took that moment to send those amber wolf eyes searching.  And when she finally found him, she stared.  He was the one that was with that cat at the beach.  Well he didn't look to damn tough, but just in case.  Flip flop covered feet moved her toward the patio of the resturant and she slipped into a seat a few tables over settling into it.  It was obvious by the blank stare on him she was watching him, she wasn't overly sneeky about it.

When the waitress came around after noticing her, she simply said the house special, two orders, a pitcher of beer, and sent the woman running.  What ever the house special was, it would be eatten, she really didn't care what it was, just that it was food.

With his eyes being on the people passing by, he wouldn't notice anything until after he heard the collision. Looking in the direction of a woman freshly recomposing herself after running into a door, his brow would raise when she shrugged people off. He had to admit it was funny, but he wouldn't laugh. No, instead he watched her with a smirk, before that waitress drew his attention away again. 'The guests at the table overe there, wanted me to send this to you.' The waitress pointed over her shoulder and Remy's head leaned to the side as he looked around the waitress to see a group of what had to be eighteen year old girls. He looked down to the margarita, and he laughed. Accepting the  drink, he would look back to the groups of people and notice... The woman was gone, maybe running into light poles now. No matter, because he'd turn to look at the now, different people on the patio and would continue simply enjoying his time.

That was, until he could feel eyes on him. He had felt other presences other than the humans since he'd been here, but now there was a new wolf, and it felt... Off. Looking down to the fizzing out glass of Dr. Pepper, he would finally take a free glance in the direction of the wolf to find it was her staring. With a blink of his eyes, he stared right back at her for a split-second, and would then look to the margarita on his table. The last thing he wanted was a wolf to come over who just happened to hate Vampires. So instead of provoking the female whether she was nice or not, he went back to people watching. Maybe there'd be a meal in this for him and he just didn't see it yet.

Those Amber eyes did not waver from his table, in fact hands shifted and elbows set on the table before chin was set on her fingers.  It could have been completely ridiculous on how she reacted but that deep seeded anger toward nearly all vampires lingered just below the surface of those tight locked down shields.  This was not Marcus nor was it Tino, and she didn't like him just because of that.  A slow blink, given and the stare was broken as the waitress set down the pitcher of beer and the glass.   Chin lifted from her hands as she reached out snag the pitcher, slowly pouring that glass full.  Nose flaired slightly, mmm this is a darker beer then what she was used to.  Apparently, nice places like this didn't sell cheap watered down beer.  Glass was lifted to her lips and drained like a pro, even turning it up at the end before giving a satisfied "ahhh".  All the while throwing very obvious glances at the vampire.

Back settled against the chair as she leaned, seeming at ease.  She had no real reason to be manuvering herself anywhere near him, or closer to him.  But after a moment of silent debate in her head, she pushed herself up and lifted her pitcher and glass and moved.  Head was nodded to the waitress to indicate her moving seats.  Pitcher and glass set down on the table he was at, before that semi feral appearance sank into the chair opposite him.  Rude as hell wasn't she?  She had no apology for it either.  Amber eyes focused on his face even as the beast within her growled and snapped it's jaws.  Pitcher was lifted and glass refilled before she spoke.

"I don't particularlly like your kind, never have since New Orleans.  But if your looking for a meal, you should try Bliss.  At least there, there are willing donors, instead of those that might not understand what they are saying yes to."

She wasn't overly nice in her tone nor was she hostile, just very bland.  Legs folded under the table before the glass was lifted to her lips and drained again for the second time.

Slowly, he'd turn to look to her as she approached, finally after all of that staring that she had been doing. Blue-green hues watched as she made herself comfortable at his table and his brow perked as she spoke. When she finished, he would only smile before leaning back in his seat. "Madame, I respect that you do not care for my kind. There will always be people that dislike for another race or species for some personal reason. But I assure you, I am not here watching people for the pickings of a meal. I am watching people, because it is enjoyable, unless you are being stared at from a few tables away." He would glance to her pitcher before sitting up slightly. "In which I do thank you for at least speaking to me to let me know why you were doing so. You're free to join me if you want, I do not mind company."

With a smile, he would turn back and look back to random people that walked in the night air. It was refreshing to see. Lycans, Humans, Vampires all coexisting for at the moment, peacefully. That was always something to witness, and with the woman still sitting there, he'd turn to look at her, if/when she started speaking again.

Grumpy was the word that would probably describe her at best.  It was a habit when around Vampires, young, old, all of them.  A tenseness that sat just below the surface that made muscles constrict and ready as if at any moment she would pounce.  But she didn't do that now, no she simply stared at him with a semi unfriendly glare.  "Why are you here in Hawaii?"  It might have come out a bit waspish but she was trying.  She set the glass back on the table, curling her hands around the bottom.  Her hands seemed to want to curl around something but instead she simply held the glass.

"Where's your kitty cat?" Quite the judgemental one, she could easily condemn other's for what they chose but her own choices seemed rather biased.  After all she was waiting for her ageless knight to wake up and realize she had been here the whole time waiting for him.  But that was mostly her blowing smoke up her own ass.  She knew that wasn't going to happen any time soon.  Maybe it was time to give up on the past, let it go.

Teeth clentched faintly for a moment, grinding her teeth together before she simply pushed the thoughts away.  Her beast still growled within her, wanting nothing more then strike out at the unknown vampire.

He was used to randomly emotional moments. But this woman, she took the cake. She seemed to be someone who was stuck in permanent angry looking mode. With a raised brow, he looked over her face and smirked. Lips barely stretching for that smirk as he turned towards her instead of looking elsewhere. Right leg had risen and crossed itself over the left knee. Hands were clasped and rested in his lap. He didn't know if she was referring to Jace or Nico, seeing as how he didn't even remember meeting this woman, ever. But why not, let's play her game.

"If you're referring to the cougar, Jace.. He's somewhere on this island. I don't know where, but he's definitely here. And if you are referring to a newly acquired employee of mine, she's doing whatever she does when working or not working."

Those stoic blue-green eyes kept a gaze to her form for the time being, seeing what else she wanted. Afterall, she was the one that approached him, spoke with him, and still remained sitting there.

One hand cletched in her lap as she struggled not to knock the smirk off his face.  And to think she was being good.  Imagine what being bad was like?  Amber eyes flickered back to the waitress as she finally brought the two plates to the table and set them in front of her.  She gave the woman a nod and asked for another pitcher of beer.  She wasn't going to waste her food, although it looked like some kind of seafood extravganza on her plate.  Oh well, food was food.  Fork was lifted and stabbed into the scallops a bit to hard.  "You where at the beach with a male cat, but you left very shortly after I saw you."  Fork brought back to her lips.

Hmmph, that was all because Tino was teasing her when they happened upon them.  For some reason, just thinking about Tino calmed her down so she could eat in reliative calm, or perhaps it was because she was eatting and not focusing on him she was calming down. "I hope you've met with the Master of the Island.  People around here don't take to kindly to rogue's in there territory."
