It was easier than it should have been. Silk had Lilian's address, and all Mel had to do was call the florist. They did the rest of the work. All he had to do was supply them with directions. But as they say, it is the thought that counts.
The order was simple, a bouquet of Lilies for Lillian. He wanted to go with something more exotic, but he also didn't want to scream to the entire Island what he was doing. Less people that were involved the better. After centuries of life, being discrete became an art form.
The arrangement was simple even if the colors weren't. He went with a modern feel. He doubted Lilian was the type to appreciate overwhelming amounts of frilly baby's breath and carnations.
