Little Miss Muffet Sat on a tuffet Eating her curds and whey. Along came a spider Who sat down beside her And frightened Miss Muffet away.
Two glossy black legs moved up and down on the old fashioned spindle. Two other legs continued to feed the silk from the tiny spinnerets at the base of her abdomen, feeding the silk through her fingers. It was softer then normal silk that one got from the Silk caterpillar. Already the bundle of un-sticky silk was large enough for her to make a simple shift, but of course even the dress would be amazingly beautiful. Each stitch was hand woven and each color was hand blended into the fabric. Multi eyes lifted at the sound of the front door opening and the sound of feet on the wooden floor. She knew it was one of the brother's no other would dare come in uninvited into the house.
All six of those slender arms where moving, each independent of each other. One was stretched out to the side of her stirring a copper cauldron, the contents a bright bright almost orange yellow. Oddly enough her favorite color was yellow. A faint melody was hummed along with the movement of her body. Angel lips parted as a faint whispering voice sang.
"My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. And there like it's better then yours"
Another hand was feeding the already dyed silk into a loom. Most things Silk used as tools where older fabricated machines, small enough to fit into the room and be comfortable still. A set of two hands where shifting the loom up and down, knitting it into a pattern of yellow and green swirls. It was so well done that it looked as if the silk was actually painted on. Was it any surprise that it could take her no time at all to finish the dress for Lili.
Lips twitched into a yawn as she paused the stirring to cover her mouth. Those retractable fangs folded up against the roof of her mouth extending for a moment before hand returned to it's work. Black, Silver and White tri-colored eyes lifted as the door opened. The smile that came to her lips was genuine as one of the brother's poked his head inside to check if she was there. She spent most of her time in her room, content to weave the day away. Unless the brother's needed her or wanted her to dress up to go outside the house.
"Master, I finished your pillow cases and put them back in your room."
Silk would keep that lovely blonde hair of Vel's from tangling in his sleep. It was simply a comfort, one that she was more then willing to give to them. After all they brought her here, allowed her to have a rather good business that would always keep her hands busy or moving. Articles of clothing made by her could fetch upwards of 10 thousand dollars, most of the outfits were wedding dresses. But when you want the best, it was hard to not say no. Plus, small items such as Lili's dress, well that would be nothing. But the intricacy that took to make a Wedding dress took nearly two months of nothing but work day in and day out. But anything was better then being under hill and being beaten. Back legs twitches as she stopped pulling silk from her spinnerets and fed the last of it into the spindle. Lifting it from it's perch she moved toward another copper cauldron and carefully slid the silk into the deep black dye. She was always creating new and interesting designs for the brother's shirts and while they did look very distinguishing in black and white, she varied in colors for them. Choosing for them what would look best on them. It was still there choice if they wore it but most times they did.
Across her tiny form she only wore the barest silken shift. It hung from her shoulders down to her human like knees. Split up the back to lay over the swell of that bloated abdomen that extended from her backside. Stained with a multitude of colors from the dye she used on a daily basis. One of her free hands reached out, pushing the windows open to let the air into the upper level room. The warm Hawaiian breeze stirred the massive spider web that decorated the entire ceiling, and the large coccoon that danged from a large rope of silk. This was her roost when she was not curled in-between the twins, which was always semi awkward being that she had a larger spider body.
Lips pursed faintly, head turning toward the window as she stared outside with all eight of her black eyes. How she enjoyed the warmth in Hawaii. It was so much better then the cold, which made her spider limbs ache. A familiar feeling drew her from her musing as she turned toward the dangling coccoon before six hands wiped at the front of her shift. Glossy legs carried her at the same pace that her human feet moved, allowing her to move smoothly. Three hands reached out gentle pulling the sticky coccoon toward her before the other arms curled around it gentle. She caressed the outside before those delicate perfect cherbub lips curled upward.
"Snack Time!"
Fangs extended and pierced past the layer of silk and the form within. Mmmmmmmmm Milkshakes! So tasty, and by far Hawaii had the much better Milkshakes.
