1 Corinthians 14:33 "For GOD is not the author of confusion, but of peace".

Gideon had been in Hawaii for a week now, keeping mostly to himself, getting organized at his new office and platform, meeting his workers and the like.  When he wasn't touring the site, he was gaining his bearings with Venna.  He wanted to make sure she was happy with where they ended up, and it seemed she was, but he could tell there were times when his sister kept quiet and docile, like she didn't want to bother him with trivalries.  Typical of girls with her age.

He had come in contact with a few other of his kind, well, not exactly his kind, but of the lycan breed, to find out exactly where this particular place was he was looking for.  Thad had given him the adress, it was up to him to find his place in society here.  Now, standing outside, dual colored eyes gazed up at the home in quiet speculation.  He wouldn't fit in, he never did.  Even though Thad had accepted him into the horde, back in New Orleans, didn't make the others accept him.  They learned to respect him, and that was all he wanted in the end.  One like him wasn't a commodity, they were usually a danger.

Hands rested in pockets of jeans, thick leather wrist band set around muscular appendage, hiding throwing knives he kept on him at all times, wife beather hugging torsoe, he looked like anyone else, even with the tasseled short hair.  The three beasts mocked him, two moreso than all.  The jaguar just laid there, tail slowly swishing in mockery to the lion and tiger that urged him on.  He denied them the satisfaction of the humiliation of being taunted and turned away.  Shunned.  It wasn't like he wasn't used to it, it was just another day for him.

Sighing (more like huffing), he shook his head, hand materializing to run thick calloused fingers through the reddish brown strands, strong jaw line flexing as he gritted his teeth in deliberation.  Now wasn't the time.  Or was it?  His beasts kept on him like it was, but the human side just laughed and told him to move on, he'll never find peace of mind or a place he could call home.

Who would accept a freak of nature like him?  Having to wrestle three beasts to stay sane?  You're nothing but a disgrace, who would ever want a piece of shit like you around them to soil their soul?  How those words echoed inside his head, always pushing Gideon away from anyone, a constant reminder of how worthless he was to others, to himself.  A frown marred chiseled features, brow lowering to a furrow as he drew in a careful breath, pushing the beasts aside, deciding perhaps now wasn't the time.
