The left side of Nori's face was swollen, she was covered in milkshake that had made the whole left side of her face sticky and reaking of turned cream and milk.  Not to mention the fact Dina's blood had sprayed across her face when she had head butted her.  It was fun at first but now, it was just uncomfortable.  Sticky warm red had been fun but now it was dried and crackling and just felt disgusting.  She had been given her customary one phone call and since she didn't have anyone to depend on and like hell she was calling Novack, she had to have the police officers locate the number for the Skate Park.  She had left a message in the hopes Shane could come and get her out.  Damn, now she was really going to be in debt to the She-snake.

It wasn't really a drunk tank but it was close enough.  Arms shifted trying to ease the pinch of the plastic hand ties keeping her hands together behind her back.   Her knuckles ached from the contact with Dina's face as did her chest from having that fat black ass tackle her and sit on her.  The police had been smart enough to seperate her from Dina and Evie since she kept trying to kick at them even as she was cuffed up.   But it was all in an effort to save Shane's honor.  Evie had said some nasty things with made Nori feel the burn of rage and she had to say something.  Suprizingly her and Faith happened to be on the "Shane's Cool" team while Dina and Evie where on the "Shane Sucks" team.

The bench was already digging into her rear as she stared through the bars as Evie and Dina.  How she wanted to throw herself against the bars in anger and scream and rant but she had to play it cool.  She was already in jail and that wasn't the best place for someone of her caliber to be in.  Thankfully she had no drugs or weapons on her that night or things might have gotten worse then that.  It was bad enough they had her paperwork from her wallet and her HF membership information.  Booted foot scuffed at the cement floor as she glanced at Faith who was locked up with her. Keeping the warring fractions apart was a smart move.  The one saving point for her, probably was the fact she didn't swing first.  She simply reacted out of Self-Defense, or at least she could play that card, even though it was only that she just didn't react as fast as Dina had in throwing the first punch.

"I knew I should have stayed in tonight.  Guess we will have to do that interview some other time huh?"

Now the real problem was who was going to bail her ass out, and during the Memorial Day weekend?  Would she have to stay in till Tuesday till they let her out?  God this really fucking sucked!  At least she made a new friend, Faith was now on the official "You're cool in my book" list for being a back of up of sorts.

Well, this was just fucking perfect, wasn't it. Sitting in a jail cell on Memorial Day morning with her hands secured behind her back. The cool bars felt good on her back, kept her sane. Kept her grounded. Because if she went back into crazy land, then they might lock her up again. She certainly didn't want that.

So, to keep herself quiet and cooperative, Evie tried her damnedest to keep her eyes on the ground or on Dina, rather than the bitches in the adjoining cell.

It was kinda funny, really. Here was Evie, the girl who had never had to really fight anyone, considering the amount of people who were always protecting her, sitting in jail. In a dress, with dried ice cream making her black hair stick to her face. When her tongue flickered out to touch her split lower lip, Evie tasted chocolate. Stupid blonde reporter bitch.

Stupid blonde reporter bitch sitting in the next cell.

Evie had done well to close the channels between her and Ash, only after she'd half-crazy talked to Mr. Redfern via mindchat. She didn't even need her one phone call. But, she'd take it when it was offered, if only because she would be more calm at that point. Ash needed to hear more than that bitch called me crazy! over and over again. He'd probably kinda need an explanation. Well, he'd get one ... later.

Her knuckles were still hurting where they had hit the floor, missing Faith's face. The gloves hadn't done much to soften the blow. But, hey. At least she had made the blonde bleed. Glancing to Dina, Evie mumbled, "at least we look kinda badass ... and it'll be a funny story in a couple of days." As she grinned, her lip split again, making her jump slightly, blood in her mouth once more. Yeah ... it'd be funny when her lip stopped doing that. So a few days. Definitely a few days.

Great, now Faith could say she got arrested on more than one land body. First the continental United States and now Hawaii.  Nice huh, and to think she covered the damn crime beat, doing pieces on criminals and writing stories about bad things going down. Now she was the story, how embarrassing.  Her dress was ruined, her hair sticky from the melted mess on the floor from where she and Evie..aka Crazy Bitch, rumbled, and her nose was bleeding. At least the cops were nice enough to dig out a first aid kit, pronounce her nose NOT broken, and clean some of the blood away so she could breath.  They didn't untie her hands though. Fuckers.

Huffing with pent up rage, she glared across the space and bars at the two women in the other cell. Musing quietly about how maybe CB should have been put into one with a little extra padding on the walls. She didn't say it out loud though. Not yet. Right now Faith knew she was angry and hurt and humiliated. Oh no, that's not how she rolled. Sneaky, and mean and verbally sly, that was her game. Maybe publish a hearty article about the signs of "Psycho Bitchism" and how to look for them in the general population.

At least she wasn't alone. Nori was there, and for all the faults the girl might have, Faith was willing to add her to her best friend's book right now. She stood up for Shane, which meant she was cool people. The matter of HOW Nori knew Shane though,  Faith would ask that for later...oh wait.  Giggling quietly, and wincing at the pain in her ribs Faith grinned over at the skinny gal.

"Well hey, I'm here you're here...Don't think we're going anywhere we could do it here.  Give the other crazies (cough cough) something to focus on besides the voices in their heads."

Sneaky, and mean, and verbally sly, kind of like that.

Dina was lying on the bench, looking up at Evie, a small smile cracking her face. "Yeah, inna coupla days..." She replied. Her lips returned to that thin line of pain. She'd gone into that fight with a limp and two broken ribs and a few cracked ones. Now that the adrenaline rush was gone, she'd put on her best cool face she could muster, trying to keep up the want to breathe.

Her one phonecall? She'd called Mr. Redfern of course. No way for a trillion dollars was she calling Aryca. Not only because she didn't want to hear her talk about her fighting again, but she wasn't entirely sure that she'd bail out Evie too. And Evie was her new best friend. Especially after that fun little brawl. A brawl with injuries that made her want to cry. But she couldn't. Not in front of Nori and the crazy blond reporter. She had thought a million times about what she'd do if she had ever been arrested, and had practiced getting out of handcuffs just in case. Why? Because she'd read Chapman's unofficial file, and knew her mom had been caught in such predicaments before, needing to escape before her identity was realized. And the motto was always be prepared...for some organization, Dina couldn't remember what. She would have carefully slid her bound hands over her bum and under her legs. But Dina was fairly certain that the cracked ribs were either broken completely, floating or she had a whole new set of fun bone stuff going on. And the whole hands behind her back were making it a billion times worse.

So instead she dislocated her thumb, turning her head towards the wall as the tears fell. Carefully, she sat up, a deep breath taken as she pulled on the digit as hard as she could to hear it pop back into place. Thank god for Kung Fu masters, heartless bastards that they were beating on students like herself and causing the fact that she was even able to do such feats. She looked at Evie with a swimming gaze as she reached up to her baseball cap, pulling out a hidden bobby pin to undo Evie's cuffs as well. She looked a mess with the concoction of ice cream on her, but Dina probably didn't look much better herself. She'd missed out on the ice cream, except there was quite a bit on her jeans. But mostly blood soaked her now ruined Metallica t-shirt and face. Her own, unfortunately. She smiled at Evie, knowing cops hated it when people got out of cuffs. It's why they mostly quit using them and started using those zip ties. "You'll be out in a jif..."

Dina managed to get one off before the world started spinning, and she looked at Evie trying to reassure her. "I'll be fine, dun worry..." She started to say, before she passed out for the first time in her life, slumping against the wall before sliding slowly to her side on the bench.

-Shane was telling Crawley a bedtime story. The little dear tucked in with one of those clean finger bones being sucked on. Shane perched on the edge of the bed reading the story from a book she had picked up. Lips set in a sneer as she saw the happy ending.-

When the Queen heard this she was very glad; for now she knew the name; and soon after came the Dwarf, and asked, "Now, my lady Queen, what is my name?"

First she said, "Are you called Conrade?" "No."

"Are you called Hal?" "No."

"Are you called Rumpelstiltskin?"

"A witch has told you; a witch has told you!" shrieked the little Man, and stamped his right foot so hard in the ground with rage that he could not draw it out again. Then he took hold of his left leg with both his hands, and pulled away so hard that his right came off in the struggle,

-
At this point the book said that Rumpelstiltskin hobbled away, but Shane thought that was a crock of shit. Clearing her throat she wrote a new ending.-

Then he pulled his right leg out of the ground and beat the sneaky bitch Queen over the head with it. Bludgeoning her again and again until the walls of the palace were sprayed with her blood and dotted with the slick grey lumps of her brain. Then he stole her baby and took it to the forest, using the childs fatty meat to flavor his evening stew. And Rumpelstiltskin lived happily ever after.

-There that was much better. The book was closed and she tossed it onto the other side of the bed before leaning down and kissing Crawleys forehead. Careful to be quiet she left the room and left the door just a crack open. When the phone rang she frowned. Someone was gonna wake up her baby. Picking it up with a hiss she heard Noris voice. The girl started to tell the tale, peppering it with one four letter word after the other. By the time she was finished Shane was laughing so long and hard that she was surprised she didn't give herself a hernea.-

"Ok ok A.C. I'll be there in a bit. Just need to arrange for ssssome bail. You just keep an eye on Faith. If anything elsssse happenssss to her I will be very put out."

-Nori was a good girl. The nickname A.C. was a recent development, standing for AntiChrist. As soon as she hung up the phone, still chuckling, she dialed the number one on her speed dial. Calling good old Ash Redfern. Three favors he owed her and she was calling one in now. Boy, they didn't last as long as they used to. She was seriously rethinking this whole companionship deal. Seemed to put a crimp in her style. Would be worth it though to see the look on the girls faces. Shane wondered what happened to the Shane Sucks side of the fight, and who those people were. No matter. Phone rang and she waited for him to pick up.-

"Hello ssssleepy head. Time to pay the piper Assshesss. I need to call in one of my favorssss."

It was only after Nori had complained rather loudly about civil rights and that she had to use the bathroom was the bindings cut and her hands released. She played good girl after that letting them take her to the women's room. She took her time, going to the bathroom and then scrubbing her face as best she could to get off the blood and milkshake. Although she did think about Faith, once they plopped her back in the cell and removed Faith's own ties she would stroll over to the woman and without asking or really caring she cleaned her face with the stack of wet napkins she had brought back. After all you had to be semi prepaired. Shane said she would come, Nori had faith.. literally. heh.

"Gotta look better then those two bitches over there."

At least that was her excuse about cleaning Faith off, if and when the woman would swat her away to finish it herself, Nori would find her feet moving as she paced the length of the cell. Like a caged animal, she ached and muscles she normally had never used screamed with each step. Yet she continued pacing, dead eyes focused on the to in the cell beside them. She watched Dina slid her hands under her not so lucious booty and settle her cuffed hands in front of her. Probably not the smartest thing to do, given Nori could see them and if she raised her voice the cops would know.

"Hey Patchy... want I should call the boys in blue over to see you sneeking out of your hand cuffs? "

Her voice was taunting, she really wanted to come through the bars and strangle her. Hands curling on the cold metal as she stared at Evie and Dina, mustering every inch of hate she could.

The phone on the bedside table began to vibrant and Ash vaguely heard the protesting moans of those in the big bad. Silents arms tightened around him as he tried to shift carefully and climb over her to get out of the bed. Wood floors were cold beneath his feet as he grabbed the phone. Leaning down a soft kiss was placed on his mates temple before he moved away from the bed, flipping the phone open just as he was going through the door and towards the kitchen. Evies voice on the other end was paniced and her voice was being shoved into his head at the same time. Like turning a dial on a radio he tuned her out of his head to just try to listen to what she had to say.

"You're in jail?"

His tone sounded slightly sarcastic as though he didn't actually believe her. As the story continued his face grew more somber. Every now and then he gave a nod. Fingers ran through his black hair leaving it sleep toussled and in disarray. Tired of standing in the dark kitchen he reached for the small switch above the stove. A small whirring noise sounded in the stillness as the kitchen was cast in the sick yellowish glow of the electric bulb. As he listened he moved through the kitchen on autopilot, getting down his french press and turkish coffee blend and starting to set up for a pot of coffee. The grounds were added and topped with hot water then left to steap. Three minutes and he'd have his morning sludge.

"Listen just stay put," As if she had a choice. "I'm going to leave and come get you. Tell the officer on duty your boyfriend is Marshall Redfern and he...I am coming to pick you up."

The blue shield could be a wonderful thing at times. If he were just a Fed it might be different, but he was officially working as one of them. It tended to come in handy. The phone was closed with no goodbye and he set it down beside the French Press before going back into the bedroom to pull on a pair of sweatpants over his boxers. They were a pair that was just like the other dozen he owned. Black with the fabric ending just below the knee. A built in holster at the small of his back where he was at the moment clipping one of his sidearms. Badge was taken from the top of the dresser and clipped to his waist and he was pushing into a pair of black Nike running shoes when he heard the vibration of the phone on the counter again. They let her have two phone calls? Grabbing the only t-shirt he had with sleeves still attached from the drawer he moved towards the kitchen again, this time shutting the bedroom door behind him. Shirt was being pulled over his head as he reached for the phone. Seeing Dinas name his heart thudded in his chest.

"Dina, is everything alright at Thirteen Moons. Is your mother alright."

It was his first thought, couldn't be helped. It never occured to him that she was in jail too and when she said it he had to fight not to say 'no fucking way'. Evie hadn't said anything to him about Dina. Then again maybe neither of them knew who the other was calling. She started telling him what happened and he stopped her quick as he pushed the plunger on the French Press down.

"I know Dina, Evie already called me. I'm about to leave the house. Listen I have a Detective working for me that used to work the beat. He'll know some of the people up there. I'm gonna send him ahead of me to talk to them. Just...don't do anything."

Shutting the phone again he stuck it in one of the many pockets hidden on those sweats. He felt like a dad woken in the middle of the night. Opening the cabinets he grabbed one of his Starbucks travel mugs and popped off the top so he could pour the thick Turkish coffee into it before shutting it up again. A quick not was left on the counter to let Silent know where he had gone. Grabbing his keys off the counter he was on his way out the door. And to think, this was supposed to be his one day in the decade that he slept in. Yet here he was not awake ten minutes, coffee in hand, sun not even up yet, and on his way to the county jail. Nice. As he walked down the steps of the porch the phone in his pocket vibrated and he was tempted to smash the thing.

"Oh bloody hell, what now."

Pulling it out of his pocket he looked at the screen and was ready to just go back to bed when he saw Shanes name. Somehow....and he didn't know how....he was positive she was responsible for this. Opening the phone he wedged it between shoulder and ear so that he could talk while unlocking and opening his door. Ash answered with the usual 'Redfern" and then her hissing voice started in on him. Getting in he strapped the seatbelt around him and reversed out of his space to head down the long driveway leading out of their land.

"What do you want Shane. I don't have any patience left so just cut to the chase."

She explained about Faith and Nori and all the pieces clicked together in his mind. Had everybody lost their minds? God, that's what he got for trying to get a good nights sleep. All hell broke loose.

"Meet me outside the jail. DO NOT go in without me or I will just shoot you and face down the murder rap on my own. I have an officer on his way over there right now to talk to the clerks office. As long as none of them presses charges then we should be fine."

Shane was as off the grid as a person could get, and he knew that meant she did not want to be on cameras inside the police station, or take a chance at being remembered connected to this. So his threat was more just him being cranky than anything because he knew she wouldn't go in without him there to make her look legit. Hell she couldn't even show the clerk a drivers license at the desk. Thus the calling in of a favor he supposed. Though this favor was much better than the last. If he could get Faith thrown into jail just two more times on minor charges then he would be free of Shane. It was a thought. Hanging up before she could respond he immediately dialed up Detective Carlson. He was at the station already so he just gave him the names of the four women in custody and told him to go and have the clerks start processing the paperwork. There would be no bail necessary. With no charges being pressed they would have been released eventually anyway, he was just speeding up a slow beaurocratic process.

When she finally had gotten herself calmed down enough to speak with Ash in their own manner of communication, she ... well, she still wasn't calm enough to make complete sense. She hadn't even mentioned who had called her crazy, or who was currently sitting next to her. Poor Dina ... she looked like she was going to throw up an organ. Luckily, she seemed to have some sort of experience with this stuff, and before Evie could say 'Cool Hand Luke,' she was out of her cuffs. "Thanks." Sighing deeply, Evie leaned back against the bars, massaging her wrists. Stupid ... handcuffs. It was then that she noticed Dina's poor state, her grey eyes going wide. "Dina? Hey, Dina." A gloved hand rose to touch her shoulder gingerly, her brow creased with concern. "Fuck." Dina needed a doctor, not a jail cell.

Standing, Evie wrapped her hands around the bars, calling to the officers who were relatively nearby. "Excuse me! Officers!" They ignored her, so Evie tried again. "HEY! Fellas!" And still, they only told her to pipe down. So, she pulled the crad that Ash had gift-wrapped for her. "Hey! My boyfriend is Marshall Ash Redfern, and I'm pretty sure he outranks all of you, so. If you don't get his girlfriend's friend the medical attention that she is entitled to, before he gets here to pick me up? You're pretty much up a shit creek in a leaking boat." There was silence in the jail for just a moment, Evie staring cooly at the men outside of the bars. It wasn't long before they took action, calling for a doctor. "Thank you." Turning on her heel, Evie sat down next to Dina who looked just about ready to pass out. "Don't worry, you're gonna be fine."

Leaning to the bars again, Evie called, "And I also expect to get a few wet paper towels that the other ladies in our adjoining cell got?" These were fetched, as well. Luckily, at least a few of the people here knew Ash. Knew he was a badass mother. Which meant they were smarter than she had originally thought.

A glare was sent towards Nori and Faith. Bitches. Wiping at the disgusting sticky mess that was formerly known as ice cream, and starting to smell like ass cream, Evie grumbled before looking to Dina, beginning to mop up some of the dried blood. "You feeling okay? Ash'll be here soon. Don't worry."

Ahh blissful quiet, just when Faith finally found a spot comfortable enough to take something like a nap...The crazy bitch across the room had to start shouting, Oh for the love of god did she NEVER stop?  Cracking one eye open Faith watched the cops rush about like fire ants when she dropped the Ash bomb. That wench knew Ash? Faith had to pause in her thinking for a long moment and stare. Better question was, who didn't know Ash, the answer? Ha!

Something about that just rubbed her the wrong way, people using his name like a get out of jail free card was just wrong. Yes Ash saved her life, yes he was a cool cat, but if he was friends with someone that unstable, Faith's opinion of the man was falling down into the potty and she was one step away from flushing.  With a grunt, Faith pushed herself to her feet and shuffled over to the great divide that separated East Berlin and West Berlin, and slammed her hand against the bars. "Hey! Shut it cupcake! Marshal Redfern doesn't have jurisdiction in here and unless you used some magic mambo jumbo on us back there, which may I remind you is fucking Illegal, your crazy ass is staying put in this lovely resort with the rest of us plebeians!"

Flashing a charming toothy smile at the other two, Faith absently lifted her hand, flipped Evie off, and headed back to her bunk. Sure it might not have been as satisfactory as throwing sugary cold confections in her face, but it was almost as sweet. Even sweeter would be a call to a lawyer. Oh ya, Faith was going to be a pain of all pains about this. And damn it felt good to be a gangster.

Nori chose to stay awake, rolling over scenrios in her head. Although the yelling from the next cage over made her turn her head and stare at Evie.  When she said Marshall what color was left in Nori's face drained away.  The last thing she wanted to do was get messed up with the Feds.  Those fuckers where not people you play with.  Dead eyes turned to Faith as she gave Evie a piece of her mind and flicked her off.  A snicker on her lips as she watched in mute satisfaction.  She sure was a firecracker that Faith.  Once she took her seat back on the cot, Nori had to grin at her like she had just ate a canary.

"Wonder if her boyfriend knows how fucking crazy she is?"

Again this was said more then loud enough for Evie to overhear.  Nori didn't make any attempt to be nice or disguise the vemon in her voice.  A snicker given as she glanced down at her nails picking the milkshake and blood mixture out from under them.

"Wouldn't trust a man who dated some fucking looney bin, her insanity might have leaked into him, turned his brain to fucking mush."

She smirked faintly leaning forward despite the protest of her back and fixated her glare on Evie.

"Hey, Looney Lucy, is that how you solve everything?  Throw your big bad boyfriends' name around?  Real fucking cool, princess.  Real cool, makes you look like a whiney little bitch to me.  And besides, your the crazy fucks that threw the first punches.  Have fun beatting an assault charge, princess."

Nori leaned back feeling triumphant, for the first time in a fight she didn't start it.  Although she had ment too, but Dina and Evie had thrown the first punches and therefore Faith and Nori could always claim self defense.   Life was good, as long as the Marshall didn't try to interogate her.  He wouldn't get shit from her, hell to the no.

They just kept at it. Kept pushing the crazy button, which ... actually did make Evie go crazy. She tried to block them out as best she could, gloved hands curled into fists despite the two split knuckles she had. Jaw was set tight, her plush lips in a thin, hard line. She was trying to ignore them, because maybe if she didn't respond, then they'd shut the fuck up. When that proved to be otherwise, Evie finally stood, walking to the wall of bars that they shared, although she didn't get quite close enough for Nori the freak to grab her.

"You fucking bitches have a lot to say about shit you don't fucking understand. This fight started back in Salem, when I called Shane a fucking bitch -- which she un-fucking-deniably is -- and got bitchslapped by a total stranger. You threw the first punch, you blonde dye-job shitlicker. And both of you are so quick to call me crazy, and yet you worship Shane, Queen of all that is Insane and Disgusting." Giving a bitter laugh, Evie tilted her head, arms crossed over her chest. "I think that's pretty fucking crazy of you. So do yourselves a favor and go fucking die, because I'm tired of smelling the bullshit that keeps oozing out of your mouths."

Moving back to her chair, Evie looked at the two women, her eyes a dark, cloudy grey. "You two are so ready to fight for Shane, but really. Do you think she'd do shit to help you, if it didn't benefit her? I bet she'd feed you to the fucking wolves. And I hope she does." Leaning back, Evie grinned, although there was no mirth or humor in it. "You two will be sorry when Shane leaves you out to fucking dry."

It took a lot for Faith not to grab the remainder of their "meal" and throw it at Evie just then. All she did do was stare back and roll her eyes. "Oh shut it and get off that fucking high horse of yours. Even if someone DID slap you ...Allegedly, slapped you MONTHS ago might I add in another fucking state, you know what? That doesn't excuse you atacking me. You know how attacks random people for no god damned reason?" An answer Faith thought was quite obvious but hey if she needed to say it outloud...she would. "Crazy people! You got a problem with being called that? Take some anti-crazy pills and maybe you'll be allowed back in public without a choke collar and a fucking muzzle!"

Alright so maybe she did let her voice rise a little bit as she screamed back at Evie. How did that whore dare insult her friend Shane? Did Evie even KNOW Shane? And what the hell was it with the people in this world having grudges against Shane. Sure the woman was edgy and a risk taker and had a killer sence of fashion, was it all it took to hate someone? Seriously you'd think people would be a bit more tolerant in this day and age, but clearly some  were just too uptight for their own good.  "Just shut up and sit there and maybe the aliens will beam some nice calming signals into your brain."  God Faith hoped they were the paralize and render speechless kind.

Evie wanted so badly to go apeshit again, but she knew that that wouldn't help her case whatsoever. With a sigh that sounded more like a growl, Evie looked to Faith, saying in a voice that sounded reasonably rational. "Okay, whatever. I'll stop talking to you if the two of you stop fucking provoking me, okay? Just ... f'kin' ... truce."

See? That sounded pretty rational. And if they didn't want a truce, then Evie could just point that out to the judge, if she ever had to talk to one. The more crazy person cracks they made, the more Evie realized it was a huge chink in her armor. She was so angry and upset at times that she couldn't breath, but she'd just remind herself that Ash was coming. And all was well. She just wanted to get the hell out of there. The walls were just a little too close, and the more she was called a crazy person, the more she thought about the years she'd lost to the inside of a padded room. This was dangerous to her health. Ash needed to be there, stat.

It was probably the worse rendition of that song anyone had ever sung but Nori sang it at the top of her lungs like she was utterly enjoying the chaos in the two cells.  She was thumping her booted feet together in time with the beat of the song.  How she knew that song was beyond comprehension when she didn't know milkshake. hehe

The louder Nori sang, the more Evie realized that she was, without a doubt, the spawn of Lucifer. Which would make sense, why she was so very in love with Shane. Putting her head in her gloved hands, Evie leaned down, shifting in her dress so that she wasn't flashing, even if it only was the stark wall. Evie had some class, thank you. Sure, she'd been straddling Faith and wailing on her earlier that night, but still. She wasn't going to sit like a lumberjack when she was wearing a dress.

"For the LOVE of all that is HOLY ... pleaseletmediehere."

Dina was finally helped back to the cell, plus one arm sling. She smiled to Evie as they shut the doors on them, and glanced over at the other cell.

"Ya see? T'is is why Asian's an' white folk don' sing. No rhyt'm."

She told her, feeling oh so much better now that she had a few painkillers in her system. She was a bit cleaner, and so was Evie it looked like. She offered up her arm for a hug around the girl.

"Sorry ah got us in t'is mess. But me'n Nori 'adda talk 'bout callin' names 'fore...an' apparently she don' 'member none of it. At leas' I t'ink I got a new bes' frien' out of t'is t'ough." Dina told her with a smile, blissfully ignoring the other cell. She'd thought long and hard about what had happened while she'd been prodded by the doctors. None of it mattered. The name calling, the dirty looks, none of it. She leaned up against the wall.

"Don' listen to 'em. Ah called Mistah Redfern 'cause 'e knows my mother, Chapman, an' so I know 'e'll be 'ere soon 'nough." Dina told her, feeling around the inside of her mouth with her teeth. She settled that icy blue hue on Evie. "So 'o is t'is Shane chick anyway?"

Yes, that was correct. Dina had no fucking clue who Shane was. The only reason she'd started the fight was the name calling from Nori, and to defend Evie. But the girl had some moves, and seemed to be able to handle herself quite fine on her own.

Evie visibly relaxed as Dina returned, nice and patched up. No pun intended. The longer she had been gone, the more difficult it was to withstand the two in the other cell. They were bitches who liked to gang up, and Evie was at the end of a very frayed rope. Evie usually would have shrugged off any sort of arm around her shoulder, but tonight was a small exception. Sighing, Evie allowed herself to be hugged, returning the sentiment with a pat on Dina's leg. After all, she didn't know where the woman wasn't hurt.

The apology was answered by the shaking of her head, eyes on the top of the cell. "Don't apologize for something that isn't your fault." Sighing, Evie stood, slipping out of the comfort of Dina's arms. She started pacing slightly, eyeing the cages. Yeah, she was starting to get a little antsy, and the evil peanut gallery next door wasn't helping at all. She did halt, however, at Dina's comment. Chapman -- Llydia? Llydia was her mom? Evie kept her astonishment to herself, making a mental note to get her ass in the loop concerning who knew who. She resumed pacing, anything to calm her nerves.

The Shane question had her lips pursing, eyes flickering to their next-door neighbors. She wouldn't speak as loudly as they had, and she'd stick to the unbiased facts. "An insane bitch." Okay, well. She was a little biased. Sighing, Evie's pacing continued. "She's the snake leader. Kadra, I think it's called." She was also a murderer and an attempted murderer and the reason why Evie was the human servant to a vampire who was half a millennia old and connected to the Ulfric of the local pack. She loved Marcus, and she loved Ash. But, needless to say, things had gone very differently from what she'd planned. Some things were better, and other things were ... complicated. "I'm not her biggest fan ... and I'm pretty sure she'd like to see me on a spit." Just a hunch/

Once the audio assault had ended, Faith applauded Nori for her vocal stylings and settled in for a long wait. For the time being there was a temporary seace fire going on between the two cells. Hell they needed to rest their throats sometimes, or when it was arraignment time, all they could do was stand there and mime the events.  Faith had a few hand gestures ready for Evie. The main one being a hand in the crook of her arm and a middle finger.  Didn't take a linguistic expert to figure that one out.

But then. Evie had to bring up Shane again. Crazy was a button for her, Shane was a button for Faith. Not that Faith felt it was her job in the world to defend a woman who could probably take down a squad of Green Berets, but it took a god damned coward to bad mouth someone while they were out of the room. God Faith hated people like that. They didn't have the balls to confront someone so they just gossiped, and as Evie started up...Faith could only do one thing to make that squeaky noise on the other side of the bars, stop.  Hey, it worked on Noriega.  Taking in a deep breath Faith did her best to sing off key. So far off key the song barely sounded human, just the way she liked it.

Nobody knows the trouble I've seen
Nobody knows mah sorrow!
Nobody knows the CRAZIES I've seen
Nobody knows but Jebus
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen

Glory Hallelujah!!!!

Sometimes I'm up sometimes I'm down
Oh yes Lord oh yes Lord
Sometimes I'm almost to the ground
Oh yes Lord

Glory Hallelujah!!!!
Sometimes I'm up Sometimes I'm down
Oh yes Lord
Sometimes I'm almost to the ground
Oh yes Lord

Nobody knows the CRAZIES I've seen
Nobody knows but Jebus
Nobody knows the trouble I've seen

Glory Hallelujah!!!!

O yes Lord, still bitches in this world.
Praise God!

With a growl, Evie shouted to the heavens, but with intent towards Faith, "For the love of GOD. Please! Shut the fuck up!" Her gloved hands raked through her hair, making her grimace slightly. Stupid ... busted knuckle. "I wasn't talking to you, and I wasn't even doing the whole, pre-teen 'talk super loud to make a retarded point' thing that you morons have mastered." Stalking to her bunk, Evie lay down, turning away from them. Her tongue darted out, tasting the sore part of her busted lip. It was already feeling better.

Grumbling as she shifted in the bunk, Evie muttered to herself, maybe only reaching Dina's ears, "if I wanted to listen to an asshole sing ... I'd fart." Gotta have a sense of humor, even when ... you're in jail. Oye, vey.

In an eloquent response to Evie's shouting, Faith laughed. It was a hysterical little giggle that grew and grew till she could no longer laugh and her cheeks were stained with tears. Which helped moisten her eyes. Problem was it made her nose run, and the napkins they were given for cleanup were not very gentle on her tender nose.

Still, Faith wasn't all bad. In the name of female solidarity and fact that they all needed to get some rest she absently flipped the bird of peace in the general direction of Evie and Patches and settled in for sleep. Or what ever that would pass for sleep at the moment. On the plus side she wasn't in the cell alone. Nori was there, and neither of them had to worry about some Shemale making either one of them their bitch. See, there was a ray of sunshine even in this dark hole.

Dina straightened, her eyebrow rising in a way that Evie would find very familiar.

"So, she's a queen of snakes? Likah snake lycan?" She thought about it for a moment, surprised. She didn't think there could be snake lycans. She'd always assumed that there was a human weight to animal weight ratio to take into account. Which was why there weren't rat lycans or bird lycans. But if there were snakes...well then she supposed there could be such things, they'd just be really really big. Weird. "So why don' she like ya an' vice versa? Besides t'e whole, insane part." She smiled. Then that crazy white reporter started screaming in song again, totally off key and with no rhythm. Dina winced, waiting for her to finish. Then Evie yelled at her and she laughed.

Her singly icy blue hue settled on Nori, who seemed to be catching some z's and then she looked back to Evie. "'ow is it ya know Mistah Redfern? If ya called 'im too, t'at's a couple of phone calls 'e wasn' 'pecting." She grinned, and then her voice raised a bit so the other two could easily hear her.

"What is it t'ey say? Ya call a good frien' to getcha outta jail, but ya bes' friend'll be sittin' next to ya sayin' 'That was fucking awesome!'" She turned her smile on Evie, settling in. Carlson was probably already expediting the paperwork, but it would still take a few. Might as well get to know your fellow brawler while waiting. She noticed Evie still had on her gloves, and decided she'd ask about that later. She might be a germophobe...but then they were covered in ice cream earlier, so that was right out.

[ just so you know I couldn't wait to go on lunch so I could come home and post on here!  ADDICTED!]

Nori was sleeping like the dead, curled up on herself which didn't look comfortable but the former Leatherneck could sleep in any situtation and in any position.  Being in the Army had been a learning experiance for sure.  She lifted her head, dead eyes half slitted when Faith started to sing.  She smirked head resting agianst her arms that where curled around her boney knees.  She was wearing a skirt but really didn't care if she was flashing other people.  Come on, you seen one, you seen them all.

A golf clap was given to Faith as she yawned massivly, arching her back and grunting at the ache that had settled into her bones and muscles.  She shifted to fold her legs indian style grinning at Faith, although at the quiet words from Evie and Dina talking, Nori would lean forward to peer through the bars.

"Hey Dina, why don't you shut up, you bag of shit.  You wanna say something to me come over here and say it to my face you N*gger bitch!"

"You got some fucking nerve saying we are acting childish.  How fucking childish is it that you talk shit about someone you don't even know.  Next time grow a pair you dirty hairy monkey and tell Shane to her face.  I'd love to see how she reacts."

Nori said it all calmly even the racial slurs, after all she was the Queen of Crazy.

"Oh and Little nut job, are you sure the cell is okay with you?  You sure you don't want one with more padding, maybe a jacket where you can hug yourself all day?  I'm sure the police will accomedate you any way you want.  After all, that big bad boyfriend of yours, he must be fucked in the head to be with a loon like you anyway.  I fear for the people of this city with a Crazy bitch like you and a man probably just as crazy as you walking around free."

Nori had rested and the words that had spilled out of her mouth where pure evil.  Yup, Nori was awake and feeling fiesty.  She leaned back folding her arms across her chest as she stared straight ahead, murderous scenerios running through her twisted little head.

The question about Shane had Evie pursing her lips, considering what she would say. It was all so very complicated. She couldn't exactly say, I hate Shane because she made Ash's insides some sort of hat, and when I found him the only way to save his life was to bind myself to him and the then-Master of the City of Salem. Yeah, that was a shit-load of information that no one in the jail or out needed to know. The telemetric was about to start explaining when Nori the Racist Dragon started in again. Whirling onto her side, Evie shouted through the bars, "this is a private conversation, you --" And then, the racist comment. Evie paused, her mouth hanging slightly ajar, grey eyes alight with fury. Evie was up out of her bed in a flash, at the bars in a matter of seconds. Not quite touching them, just out of reach. She didn't trust any Humans First people, but especially not this one. "I know all I need to know about that bitch." Lowering her voice for the sake of only including Nori, rather than involving the police, Evie's words were like acid spit out of her mouth. "You worship a murdering psychopath."

Stalking back to her bunk, Evie sat, facing away from Whori and her musically challenged friend. Trying to ignore the other women, Evie tuned back into Dina. Forcing a grin at Dina, stifling a yawn. "Yeah ... I'm sure Ash was all smiles and giddiness after our calls." Considering Evie had also been screaming into his brain like some sort of possessed radio, she could only assume he had one hell of a headache. She wasn't exactly expecting Mr. Sunshine to come and bail them out. Evie was just ready to start napping, when Nori started in on it again.

That bitch just didn't know when to stop. But what was just as infuriating was how much it truly upset her. She hated that she had revealed her weak spot, the chink in her armor. Jaw set, Evie stared at the ceiling, arms crossing over her chest tightly. Her lips barely moved as she spoke, a strained whisper that only she could really hear. "You're going to regret this." And Evie truly believed it.

Now Faith officially needed a drink. A big one, preferably a shot short of being a lethal dose. Mmmm Tequila! With plans to get hammered later, firmly in her mind, Faith watched.  The time to rage and scream has passed and something that resembled "reason" began to set in. Not a feeling Faith liked, seeing how it was starting to have that "I'm in jail!" look to it. It wasn't as fun as when they first got there.  And Evie's temper tantrum and constant mud slinging towards her friend was slowly wearing on her mind. "Murdering Psychopath? Wow, big words, did you learn those in the loony bin?" The words were sweet, coated with honey and rolled around in grains of brown sugar as they fell out of Faith's mouth.

Reaching out, the reporter draped her arm around Nori's shoulders and grinned as she stared across the space at the other two. "See this is what happens when you feed the animals at the zoo, they go all craaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzeeeeeyyyyy!!!" Lifting her finger, Faith made little circling motions  next to her temple to give a better visual for just what kind of Crazy she meant, and then hooked her thumb in Dina's and Evie's general direction. But someone had to be an adult here, and clearly it weren't the one eyed amazon and the lunatic, so Faith stepped up to the plate. "Hey how about this, you stop talking out of your ass about our friend, and we'll stop pointing out your obvious lack of sanity. Capiche?" See, Faith was all nice and offering an olive branch (dipped in poison). It was hard to be so mature, but sometimes, you just had to do it.

Nori watched Evie come to the bars in a fit and it made her grin.  She had achieved her goal of pissing them off to the point of almost loosing reason.  She blew a kiss to Evie as she sit out words of truth about Shane.  She knew Shane was evil and a murderer.  Hell she helped her kill  Reggie, she knew far better then Evie did.

Since Faith was offering a preverbial Olive Leaf, Nori stood and settled herself on the ground.  Boney knees folded as she set her arms across her legs and leaned forward on them.  Those dead eyes watching Dina and Evie through the bars.  She wouldn't say a single thing, just keep staring at them.  It was obvious it was a murderous glare or that Nori was thinking delightfully torturious things she could do to the women across from her.

If Evie happened to look back, she would see who was really the crazy one.  Nori's smile said it all.

Evie looked towards Faith, eyes burning, voice dripping with the same sugary sweet sarcasm that Faith employed as a weapon. "Actually, Faith, I learned them from reading your articles. Very insightful. Tell me, did you pass journalism in high school, or just fuck the teacher to get a good grade." Smiling sweetly, widely enough for her split lip to ache, Evie turned her attention back to the ceiling.

Faith's 'olive branch' was ignored, for a moment. She could either have a few minutes of peace and quiet while admitting she was insane, or tell her to fuck herself and then hear terrible singing for several more hours. Where the fuck was Ash? With a low growl, Evie sighed out an answer. "Deal." They were going to see a real crazy person if they kept pushing her. Shutting them up was the best insurance. Glancing towards them, Evie caught sight of Nori. Yeah, that crazy look was something the telemetric recognized. She'd spent years in the hospitals, and that was the look that the hopelessly gone patients had. Pure, unadulterated insanity. And not the self-pitying type. No ... Nori savored her crazy.

Well wasn't that just peaches.

Dina patted Evie on the back, a chuckle released. She seemed oddly serene since returning from the infirmary.

Maybe it was the drugs...maybe it was something else entirely. The food sucked, and the sleeping was horrible. It sucked to be in jail for a few days. She heard Evie mutter that they'd regret this. Dina nodded.

"Yes they will." She said too soft for anyone but Evie to hear. She had a smile on her face, one that didn't quite reach her eyes as she spoke those words. Almost empty, but she was thinking and planning. She did have a plan, it had been formulating the entire time that she'd been poked and prodded at by the doctors. Unlike her fellow incarcerated acquaintances and best friend, Dina had her head stuck in law books. She'd always carried one around with her, and learned new things about the justice system everyday. Not to mention psychology, but she merely dabbled in that field. It was more to correlate with the psychosis of criminals that she hoped to be prosecuting or capturing someday.

Her icy blue hue settled on Faith. She was just a frustrated human being, aggravated and tired of all the cross talk between the bars. Even though she was the one to instigate most of it. She had a case of idol worship for this Kadra Shane, but she was only as dangerous as the next person. Dina was unsure if she was capable of killing when it came down to it. But then most people were when they were backed against the wall.

She looked to Nori as she grinned that crazy grin of hers, that savoring look in her gaze. Nori was a head case, something Dina knew from their first encounter. She had a plan for Nori. Her thoughts drifted back to Reggie, someone she hadn't seen in a few days. And how Nori liked to torture him, and the things she said. Yes, Nori was smart, for sure, but she had a fatal flaw.

Her deadly sin was pride...she talked too damn much.

Legs had long since gone numb and even her ass cheeks where completely devoid of life.  Yet she continued to sit there watching the two women.  For all her madness and insanity, Nori was very slick.  After what had to be hours she finally turned her head to Faith.

"How about that interview?"

For reasons all her own she wanted to do it now.  Perhaps it was the pending release which was taking too fucking long or some part of a master plan.  Legs unwound and hands where set on the cement floor before she pulled herself up.  Standing and stretching her arms up over her head, booted feet gave a shake trying to ease the pins and needles creeping up her thighs and over her rear.

"Although I do have one favor to ask before, I want you to make sure you only mention me in the article, and I want my picture in the paper. "

Two very simple demands but if what she planned worked then the grand plan would come to fruition.

The dark clouds forming on the other side of the bars, were totally harsing on Faith's attempt at being Zen. Hey if you can't beat them...try a different approach, and Faith was trying to just wait out her time in the tank till the cavalry arrived and got her the fuck out and as far away from the crazy bitch as it got.  Wishful thinking on Faith's part, since the world was determined to shrink to abnormal proportions. And

Somehow Faith managed to let Evie's insult fly into one ear and out the other. Hell the freak show probably didn't know how to read anyway. So when Nori spoke up about the interview, Faith ended up staring at the girl, and blinking like a fish for a moment or two till the brain engine clicked into motion and Faith grinned. "Alright, I can do that!"  Shifting on the cot, Faith folded her legs, Indian style, tugging the edge of her dress down so not to flash anyone who wanted to look. At least her underwear was cute, no laundry day solutions for this reporter!  After smoothing her hands through her hair in an attempt to make herself look presentable. (An easy job since she wasn't covered in sticky fluids.) Faith held out her hand with an imaginary microphone in it towards Nori. "Alright, let's start with the basics...What's a lovely, sane, person like yourself doing in a place like this?"
