After a trip to the clinic told Kylie pretty much what she already knew, the leg just needed to heal. They gave her one of those foam like braces that you slip over your knee with a hole in the middle and told her to take it easy. Kylie knew it would feel better by the next morning anyway, but it might not be a bad idea to pretend she was hurt for a few days after that. So as not to rase suspicions. Nori probably already knew what she was, or acted like she did. But the other man that had helped her at the skate park? He seemed to interested in her wound to be just "helpful"
Evan finally dropped her off at the house, and shehobbled her way inside. Skates were thrown into the back of her closet, bag dropped next to her bed, as she flopped down. bouncing a few times. Laying on her back and stareing at the ceiling. At least she still had Evan to talk to. Seemed like Reggie was going to hold a grudge against her for awhile for telling Patsy what he'd been mumbling about last night. She'd been asked a question...She had to answer it right? Letting out a soft sigh, she rolled over, pulling her bag up onto the bed, as she scooted back towards the pillows.
Pulling out the new red, KRAZR from her pack, she smiled, looking it over. Evan was so cool. Giving her a way to stay in contact with him, as well as the rest of the horde. Knowing she was short on cash, and the only way she was gonna get any was by hocking her laptop, which she wasn't about to do.
If only she could get her stained glass stuff together...maybe ask Sloane if she knew a place she could use as a work shop, she could sell some peices, and have some money comming in...laptop was booted up as she pulled it into her lap, after sticking a few pillows under her knee. Once it was up and running, she pulled up Craigs list and started to serch. All she needed was a few cutters...some pliers...copper foil, flux, a grinder, soilder, and a soildering iron...as well as some Zinc or lead and the glass, and she was set.
Anything to keep her mind off the fight with Reggie and the fact he was being an ass to her lately. She scowled as she thought about it, how he had just let her sail by and crash into the fence, hurting her leg. Bah. Fuck it. She'd just avoid him from now on. Make her life a hell of alot easier. Right. Other then Evan he was the only friend she felt she had in this place. even if right now she felt like Evan was the only friend.
Soon finding what she wanted, and calculating the cost, she'd save it all and get in contact with Evan in the morning. Maybe he'd be willing to front her the start up, till she sold a few peices....maybe....
