Eric spent several days away from the empty ship, leaving the note to sit there while he was out searching hte islands for others who knew anything of the craft. The best place to look was always closest to home, and so on returning to the empty boat he opened her letter and read it with a kind smile.

He would pen her a response, and finding the roadre drop it off in the mailbox with her name on it.
