A package for the Cowboy
Permalink Closed

The mind came up with some amazing things when bored. And Rocca, was very, very bored. It didn't happen often, but sometimes that lull showed up out of nowhere.  With no desire to go to the studio, to go be a bum on the beach, shop, pamper herself at the spa or "hunt." Rocca found herself eyeing the can of Cheeze-Wiz on the coffee table. Now didn't that just make the little Cobra grin as she went to get dressed and to find a box.

It took a little work, but having something to do did make her mind work. In that strange way that it did sometimes.  The little side trip to the mall ended in success that had the little box jingle jangling all the wee way to the Pack House.  Tracking down the Cowboy took some doing, but a call to the right person or two and it was amazing what you could find. The messenger service wasn't even that expensive. Maybe the fates wanted Rocca's message to be delivered.

The "gift" was simple. A black leather whip, and a can of Whipped Cream. The note was sheer elegance "Option A or Option B. Either is fine with me. Tag, you're it."  There was no signature. There was no need for one.

:: The package was found in the small room that Dylan kept his belongings in, it as a bedroom for the sheer fact that there was a bed in there, but it got realitivly little use since it was usually more fun to sleep in one of the larger piles with the rest of the pack. The day had been an uneventful one until he found the box on his bed. It reeked of snake, a blonde one with a nasty bite that seemed to think he tasted good enough to send him a can of topping and a whip. He had never really been one for whips, but he would see what Lani thought about it. ::

::Well there was only one thing the wolf could do to pay back the "kindness" of the gifts. Shopping didn't take too long since he knew what he had in mind. The scent that clung to the box wasn't all that hard to follow after asking around a bit about the to Lani she said to try the skate park. It was the middle of the day when he dropped by with the brown cardboard box. ::

::Within the box was a small rump roast that was raw and dripping through the paper it was wrapped it soaked with the blood and a small stuffed wolf.  A simple piece of paper left in with the gifts.:: Both looked too good to give up.  Your it now

"Just sign here please..." The delivery guy was nervous and Rocca could smell it. The sweat, the pheromones in the air, if she was a lesser snake she'd have thought she was the one making him nervous. Lucky for him the poor man didn't even register on her radar. Just like the ants that crawled on the ground near by. The smell of blood coming from the box though...That had the Cobra's attention. After shutting the door in the delivery guy's non memorable face, Rocca busied herself by undoing the wrapping. Cheap. Seriously, no one appreciated the subtleties of satin ribbons anymore.

Out came the stuffed wolf. Dry blood marring it's synth-fur. Pretty. The toy was tossed aside and her attention was on the note and the hunk of meat. Rump Roast. God bless the New York education. Instead of grammar and mathematics, you learned where the best deli was, and which butcher shop didn't add sawdust to the sausage. Lifting the hefty piece of beef, Rocca shook her head as she crumpled the note and tossed it into the trash. Wolf-boi wanted to play, then they'd play. Too bad for him it wasn't a cow's ass she wanted on her plate.

"Hey JACK!!!! Got a present for you! Ass meat! Courtesy of a werewolf!"

Poor wittle Rattler needed a present. What's better than stuffed wolf'n'meat platter.
