Life was good. Life was better than good, it was good with whipped cream (the non fat kind) and chocolate sprinkles sprinkled on top. Faith was feeling good while she sorted through the color photographs courtesy of the intern tech geek that got a cup of coffee and a flirty "thank you" for printing them for her. The photos looked even better enlarged. The phone’s camera was impressive with the amount of detail it managed to capture. After taking a closer look at the images, no way could someone think it was an altered image. A trial lawyer might find faults with it, but that didn’t worry the little reporter in the least. Boss man nearly peed himself when she dropped these babies on his desk. The story Faith was after had everything. Politics, preternaturals, violence, a cute guy with his ass in a sling would qualify for the sex appeal...it had everything but the kitchen sink, and if Faith dug hard enough, the question might be porcelain or steel?

With her feet propped up on her desk, she gave the photos another glance while counting the rings. It took all of two and a rather professional sounding woman picked up the phone, Informing Faith that for quality’s sake the phone call maybe monitored or recorded. How sweet. Once the spiel was over and done with, it was Faith’s turn.

"Yes hi. I’d like to speak to Mr. Torani, per favore."
 

"Oh, he’s out to lunch? Great, well then his voice mail will do."

Great, and there she was hoping to speak to him directly, but oh well, when life gave you limes, you made Margaritas, all Faith needed was a blender, salt and tequila...Click and after listening to the directions on how to leave a voice mail, Faith took a deep breath, letting her voice take on that hyper happy sound that she felt on the inside.

"Hi, Mr. Torani. My name is Faith Danovan and I’m a reporter with Salem Post. I have in my possession a few photos of very interesting nature. I don’t want to go into details over the phone so I was hoping we could talk about them in person. Preferably sooner rather than later. I can be reached at 545-0909 at anytime. Ta ta!"
