  Numbers were punched, Patsy was shown on the screen for the out going call.  Her voice... Cara was about to speack when she heared a 'leave a message'.  A small frown and waited for the beep.  "Nimir-ra, it's Cara.  I just wanted to let you know, I have a three o'clock flight to california round trip this morning.  I'll be gone a couple days, step parents passed away, and... If you can, call me...I'll explain everything, but I don't think I can on voice-mail.  Love you..."  There was a slight pause.  Love you?  It slipped!!!  "Uh... Chat later.  Bye."

Cara closed the phone...

-By the time Patsy received the message Cara was probably already on a plane for California, and she wouldn't hear this until she landed. As Patsy listened to the phone ring her fingers played over the platinum chain of that necklace that had been a gift from her littlest leopard, drawing the diamond pendant against her skin as the rings pounded in her ears, tempting her to hang up and call back when Cara could answer, but instead she waited. The voice mail service picked up and soon enough that beep resounded. For a moment there was silence and then that purring voice of Patsy Stone reached through techno-space to caress her leopards ear.-

"You just remember dahling, you have family here waiting when you get back. So keep a smile on that beautiful face and get home to us in one piece and you and I will have a special homecoming dinner to celebrate. Then you can tell me about everything, just us girls. I love you too beautiful."

-A purr slipped free of her tongue before she hung up the phone, sliding it back into the Gucci clutch, and then the Town Car was pulling up in front of Tiffany's and it was time to do a little shopping.-

Cara has been back for two days. Jade blues glanced at her phone debating on the call she wanted to place. She hugged that crimson fluff pillow tighter at the need of it. Huddled in her bed sheets, she pulled the phone into her hand and flipped it open. It took a second for the blue light of the screen to come on, which ment the batery was dieing... she quickly punched in the numbers and held the phone to her ear. Half tempted to hang up and wait until she saw Patsy she heard the sudden beep. "Nimir-ra, this is Cara... I just wanted to let you know I'm back in town... Um, call me when you get this? Bye."

And with that cara closed the phone and threw the covers from her body and onto the floor, blankly looking up at the ceiling. A small sigh.
