As she had promised, Lexi flipped through the numbers in her phone before finding the one to the pack house. She half expected for the call to be answered by an unknown voice, but instead got only an answering machine. A soft clearing of her throat as she waited for the beep, and then: "This is Lexi. I'll be over there in about twenty minutes." Short, sweet, and to the point.
Collecting the bag she'd packed and being sure that the alarm system was set, she headed out to the Corvette. With her bag on the passenger seat and the seat belt buckled, the key was turned in the ignition and she headed out onto the road.
Green gaze looked over the house as she pulled up and put the car in park. A centering breath was taken before she got out, straightening the green satin blouse over her jeans. Heeled sandals carried her to the front door, not bothering to grab her bag yet. First, she wanted to be sure there would be no problems, just as she'd mentioned to the Ulfric.
Knuckles rapped at the door, free hand running through brown locks to get them out of her face. This should be interesting. All first meetings had been in the past, so why should this one be any different? She only hoped the Ulfric would not be upset that she was only just getting over here. Of course, she had a good explanation for that, should it come up.
Now, all that was left to do was wait to see if anyone was home.
-Lyric listened to the messeges, writing what people said for others. Mostly it was all marketers, selling whatever. Like Pens. Silly things. White kicks moved around the house, after hearing the one from Lexi. GUess it was a new wolf, in Lyric's mind she thought so.
So when the door bell was rung, and she rushed over to answer it. Surprise, this woman was no wolf, but a fox. A real were-fox. Shocked? A little. Only fox she knew about was the one that worked in the Clinic with Jessica.
"Oh, Hey, ya'll Lexi right? Ah'ma Lyric. Ya left a message, and Ah guess mah Ulfric forgot ta tell me. It's alright. Come in, make yaself nice and comfy."
This was all said with the Ghetto Boston Irish tone, that slippe din and out of Lyric's natural jazzy tone. Lyric gave her a smile, and she would play hostess till either Ash or someone showed up. But guessing, this one might be staying for the moon, seeing as it was a day away and all.-
||Biting away at the edges of a unfortunately dry sandwhich, Sirus made his way towards the phone. There had been messages left at the Pack house in which had been answered, but he paid them no heed, he rarely checked the damned thing, and when he did, someone usually beat him to it, so, to him, old messages were new, and even though Lyric wrote down what was left upon the device, Sirus still slicked his feet up to the box, filing through the old and dated words until one in particular caught his attention. Apparently Lyric had already beaten him there, because her scent was draped intensely around the machine. Picking up the phone to dial up Lexi's number in question, he smiled when he got her automated answer.||
"Hey there Lex! So, you comin' to live with us or what?"
||He'd heard recently that there had been rumors of a Fox named Lexi in the area, and that she wanted to join the pack, so to speak, he just didn't believe them until now.||
"Well, when you get here, you're going to be welcomed. No questions asked. I'll find you a room for the night if you don't mind!"
||Pausing briskly, he managed a few more words that would end the one sided conversation.||
"Well anyways, hope to see you soon, by the way, my name's Sirus, you'll know who I am when you see me."
It was an interesting situation she found herself in. Her phone had given its awful jangling noise to tell her she had a message, which she promptly started listening to. Of course, in the process, the door was answered. A smile found its way to her lips as she listened to both the message and the pretty wolf who'd answered the door.
Phone was soon shoved back in her pocket so she could give her full attention to Lyric.
"'Ello Lyric. It's a pleasure to meet you. The Ulfric said I should come over and meet everyone this week."
British accent was quite pronounced due to a slight nervous flutter in her belly. She was sincerely hoping that there would be no issues about her sharing space with the wolves. The last thing she was looking to do in this town was cause trouble with the shifters.
Stepping inside when Lyric let her, she'd look around curiously. After all, if she was going to have to stay here a week each month, it was in her best interest to learn the layout of the place as quickly as possible. Looking back to Lyric, she smiled.
"Well, pet, can I have a tour? I'm afraid I might get lost in here without one." A wink sent to the woman. She'd decided to be a little teasing until such time as she needed to get serious. Besides, it wouldn't hurt anyone.
:|: Silent had left eariler that moring to go pick up a gift she had ordered for Cypress. So when Lex arrived...Well she was far away...But she was expecting the fox. Which is why when she pulled into the horseshoe drive way she wasnt surprised to find a car that wasn't packs...Though in truth she had hoped it was the new wolf...She wasnt feeling completely comfortable with a rogue wolf running around Salem this close to the full moon. But anyways..Door would be open Sati would be grabbed and Lyric would be hunted...Being that her scent mixed in with that of the fox.:|:
Lyric! You should of called me...I would of came home faster.
:|: Amber eyes would move over the fox..As it had been last time...She didnt drop her gaze..Like she did with many of the stronger alphas in Salem. Extending her hand:|:
Silent Westperd...Ferki of this pack.
:|: She would smile some before she went to greet her pack members..Sirus and Lyric being the main ones.:|:If you would like...Im sure that Roses old room is open for you to set your things. :|:She was being friendly...Or as friendly as she could be to stranger in the packhouse...Her main consern being the wolves.:|:
Kyle had finally been drug home by Lyric, good thing to cause he would of probably forgot about the hole full moon thing with the pack, she had a interesting affect on him. He had his guitar out, strap around his neck. The amp was being held by one hand at his side. The man made rather loud foot steps as he came down the stairs. A sudden stop, he just stared at the door were every one was gathering.
Might as well say hi...
He walked forward slowly, droping the amp down against the wall so no one would trip over it. A few strides forward and he was beside lyric. He gazed at this new person for a very long silent moment. The fresh blood and snow smell kinda just came off of him rather strongly, though it was mostly blood now; staying at a meat factory does that. After Silent was done shakin her hand he would offer his out to her slowly. The other resting against his guitar.
