-Lyric had just been dumped. Though the way Lyric took it hadn't been as expected. Sirus was mad, so in turn she was mad. It feed of one another like a virus. Though when she went to her room, and found all of Sirus' stuff gone. There was a sense of dread, and something else. Oh anger still swelled in inside, but she was going to be lonely for the fist night. Hand moved on autopilot as she reached for her Cell phone. No thinking as she called a number. After the ringing and the smooth British tone asked to leave a message she would.
"Daddy....can ya please sleep ova tanight? Ah need ya."
Lyric knew she had messed up. Not by calling Ash. But with Sirus. Did she love that man? Yes, actually she did. But there was something else too. Something that Lyric was scared to allow to happen again. She really hoped that they could have worked out. Sirus could have been someone that helped her move on, and really open up. Guess he wasn't that person. Another number was called as she finished with Ash. Shakti's number was called afterwards.
"Pixie... Can Ah come over in the morin'? Please call me back when ya get up."
The cell was closed and tossed on the bed. She went about her room and started to fix it up waiting for either person to call back.-
It was supposed to be his night to go out to dinner with Silent. A time for them to talk, and a time for her to tell her what sort of monster she was sharing a bed with. Maybe because of that he was partially greatful when he heard Lyric's voice on the answering machine. "Damn It." The words were mumbled under his breath as he heard what she had to say. Sirus and Lyric were both being rediculous, but then again they were both young so it was to be expected. After Ash had seen Sirus and Elena the last few nights he had been expecting this. Sirus wasn't exactly known for having the best track record with commitment. His finger hit the button to shut off the machine and he turned to give Silent a very sincere, I'm sorry but what can I do, face. She was always welcome to join him at the O'Reilley house if she chose to. Generous mouth placed a soft kiss on her forehead. Cell phone was brought to his ear as he slipped a pre-packed bag over his shoulder and headed towards the door. In his line of work he had just gotten used to being travel ready. The first call he made was to Lyric, leaving a message when he got the machine. "I'm on my way with Memphis. Just have your Da leave the back door open." Hanging up the call he then hit number 3 on the speed-dial, the Geri was awake and answered after just two rings. Ash didn't waste time on pleasentries. "Harry I'll be in front of the boarding house in ten minutes, be downstairs."
-:Harry stood in the cold, waiting, hands dug deep into the pockets of a navy blue work jacket. The red patch on the right chest pocket said Seymour. Oh well, it was a name. Between fingers was the usual stub of a cigar, brought periodically to his lips so he could produce that sickening thick smoke in large puffs. When the Ulfric's car finally pulled up to the curb he headed around to the passenger side.:- "So fill me in on the ride over. What exactly's been going on?" -:Sometimes it was a bad thing that living at the boarding house kept him out of the loop on what went on at the pack house. Then again that was also the good part of it. On the ride he let Ash fill him in (played out in IMs) and by the time they pulled up at the O'Reilly place he felt like an old man. Yeah, there had been a time in his life where moonlight and roses had been tempting, but that had been long ago. Love was for the young and the foolish. Not for old men who smoked too much and sat behind the wheel of a cab for a living. Cynical? Maybe, but hey if you could prove him wrong he'd give you a lollipop. Memphis just followed Ash, theyd give Lyric the puppypile she obviously needed. Share the warmth of pack with her, in the end that was a warmth that never faded.:-
