~Two types of lycans had answered his call. Tiger and wolf. One more than he had expected and just the amount that he had hoped for. Standing in front of Silent and Brady he for the moment let the vampires in the room go still and watch. All around him he could feeling that stilling in the other vampires as if the oldest there simply couldn't be bothered to look alive any longer now that they were among their kindred. Sizing up the tiger male he could feel the mans strength, the power coming from him like the presence of a live wire in a room so full of death. And Silent, the bright and colorful Lupa amidst the darkness of his crypt. Neither of them fit. It was like a bloody Highlights Magazine game of Which of these things is not like the other.~
"I've invited you here..."
~yes, let's go with invited.~
"...to send the message to your clans. Your Ulfric Silent, and your people Mr?""
~Azrael gave Brady a chance to fill in a name at his leisure~
"Up to now the vampires haven't been represented in this city. That changes now."
~The lycanthropes had essentially been running the city. Their people carving up territory with no mindfulness of the undead the vampires were so scattered. Now though, that had to change. Azrael may not want to stay in any position of power in Rome. Might seek out a stalking horse or another Primgoen soon enough, but for now he wanted the lycanthrope community to realize there was a new sherriff in town.~
"It's my way of being courteous. Letting you know as leaders that things in the city are changing."
~Stepping forward he brushed the tips of his fingers against Silents cheek, pushing her colorful dreadlocks back over her shoulder.~ "Let Ash know I have no intention of interfering with the Pack. But that as an Executioner I would very much like to speak to him. Ask him to meet me, at the Carnivale."
~Turning from Silent to Brady he met the other mans eyes for a long moment as he felt the anger pooling around the other man. It was enough to make him want to laugh, but somehow he managed to suppress the desire. Maybe he'd get lucky and Faith would chuckle for him.~ "Talk to Janey girl. She'll explain and after you talk to your people maybe we can work something out on our own....Khan."
~He would find a way to create a common ground with the lycanthropes or at least teach them that they were no longer going to be running the top of the cities food chain. For now though this initial meeting was enough. Turning away from the lycanthropes he would let them leave before vampire business could commence.~

Ice rolled down Jane's back. She did catch the sneering of lips and the look that said all to well it was something Jane wasn't wanting to understand then and there. Not now anyway. Eyes of Aztec gold bounced from Master Vampire to Khan. This was worse than a tennis match. Jane actually hated the sport. Finally she just settled on looking forward and stop trying to analyze everything. One thing she figured out was that Bucky was making a run for Primogen. Which Jane silently wondered where the hell Tino ran off to.
The thought was a fading one, when she caught Bucky's eyes. He was walking a girl to her. Addressing Brady; Jane's hand gripped her Khan's a little tighter. It was only to let him know that she would be fine. He was her Khan and had every right to be there to see what was going on. The brush of Bucky's thumb on her hand when he gave Jane the girl, was brief. It sent spikes of electricity into her veins. It was a shock and a reminder she didn't have her gloves on. The ones that kept everyone else at a distance.
Dropping the girl's hand as she guided the human out of the crypts. Jane wanted to stay and she had all the rights in the world to do so, she was after all his Animal to Call. Jane guessed Bucky needed her to play human baby sitter. Go figure. Some other world vampire/lycanthrope leader gathering power struggle was happening and Jane had to go play baby sitter to a normie.
