-After returning to Omerta via Shane's orders he would enter the room with Nori, Deliverence, and Harley still there. He had a message to deliver and in one of the longest speeches of Dexters life he explained what the deal was that Shane had made with the Hyena Clan. Once the others got over the shock of hearing darling silent Dexter talking he could see them straighten up and pay attention. The snakes were to protect them, make sure none of the others in the city harmed them. Including the snakes themselves who were not allowed to maim, cripple, or kill the hyenas. Anything else it seemed was up for grabs. Shane herself would punish them if they went against these orders and when he announced that he could see that the very thought of Shane's kind of punishment put fear even into Nori (both of her personalities). Bad they might all be, but Shane was the baddest of the bad.- -He explained that in exchange to this Shane was to have a chance at conceiving with the oldest and strongest Hyena male, and that Crawley's new babysitter when the snakes were busy was to be the yonger man. Also that the Hyenas would be extra fodder for the snakes wheeling and dealing. And that the Hyenas had sworn to Shane that they would make no more of their kind within the city from the human stock around. All the rest he explained and when he was done his own voice was hurting the insides of his head. So with his message delivered Dexter left the wicked Omerta to return home and leave the others to discuss this new arrangement.- __________________
