According to a rather large book about inter personal relationships, gift giving was one way of communicating with others. You could do that (or get what you want) with words and actions but sometimes a little greasing of palms, or paws in this case, could add to the whole smooth sailing experience of dealing with people you didn't particularly like.
Crawly didn't give a shit about the smooth thing, what she wanted was to make a point. She was just iffy on what that point was exactly. When Mommy told her about Cologrio's reaction to her little drive by biting, she laughed. Naturally. Then she became sorry she ran out of there so fast and missed the whole freak out. Honestly the child throught Cologrio would "get it" and play with her. Big bad kitty kat that he was it would have been fun. But noooooo, right? Maybe he just needed to remember what fun was. Or maybe he needed to dig that stick out of his ass and loosen up a little. All the couldas and the maybes made her little head hurt.
Good thing inspiration tended to strike Crawly fast and it tended to strike hard leaving no room for "maybe I shouldn't" and catapulting (heh heh cat..) her straight into "DO IT!"
The idea was simple, a quaint little reminder to the King Pussy Kat that he was no fun. At least not Crawly's kind of fun, he was an adult that automatically made him boring, but come on, getting so whipped up about a measly little bite? That's what babies did. And what do babies like? Toys!
The toy was simple. A Garfield Plushy half as big as Crawly, with a chunk of it's throat missing thanks to some creative tooth play. Coincidentally that's when Crawly discovered that she didn't like the taste of stuffing. Red nail polish simulated the blood in the neck wound and the glitter gave it that finishing touch all high quality jobs demanded. Plus it made it look pretty. The doll was stuffed into a big boy diaper with blue byclies and soccer balls all around the blue Velcro tabs.
After stuffing the doll into the a box, Crawly handed the gift over to Alyce to take home whenever she was finished cleaning up La Casa De Snake.
It wasn't till later that Crawly wondered if she should have included a card or at least a note about who the gift was from. Oh well, it was too late now.
