Well this is how Ker always wanted to start out his morning, with a rude awakening. The man was sleeping warm and tucked in his bed when all the sudden he was flying off his mattress and dumped into the floor, his whole body wrapped up inbetween the sheets like he was a gift to someone. His hand reached for his gun, and by the time the stood up cocking the hammer back, and getting ready to point it he saw whom it was. It was his childhood best friend standing there with a serious look on her face, blinking Ker stood to his feet. White opals narrowed at her as he disarmed himself, sitting the gun down on the table behind him. "You know I've had rude awakings and everything but why did you do that!"
Forgetting that he was still wrapped up in the bed sheet, he took a step forward and fell right falt on his face in the floor with a thud. Groaning he rolled over onto his back looking up at the celin, and quickly he stood up unwrapping the sheet from around him, and kicking it across the room. Dusting his clothes off.
"Don't ask. Im very fine"
Starting off twords the kitchen area, thanks to Rad he was now wide awake but still he was wondering why she flipped him off the bed like that. "You know we had a deal about this breaking and entering my trailer thing, the last time we ran into each other," Well the last time, we ran into each other she found me on my knees in the floor with a ring. Shocked she's still wearing the thing.
"If you wanted my full attention Ari all you had to do, was knock and the door will be opened, I've replaced yet to many doors and doornobs because of your overly strong strenght"
Everysince that day she ran in on him at the trailer, he's not spoken to her. The both of them have not said any words to each other. And from all the looks some of the people were giving him were not friendly, Ker knew what the others thought of him and in a way he knew what she thought of him the two never really talked about this but when Rad looks at him she's looking at him like he is some kind of bug that needs to be squished or killed well that was how he thought of it. Ker never said much he tryed to not let things bother him, but the thing is everyone thought the man left when he didn't.
"Something bothering you?" he walked up to the kitchen counter, and opened a cabnit door. Removing two coffee cups, and flipping on the button to the coffee maker, "You really need to stop giving me the silent treatment I know you don't trust me"
Snap of the lock, the door opened slowly. Tucking the tools back in the pouch. Ariadne wouldn't be blamed again for breaking another of Ker's locks. Climbing through the window didn't seem dignified either. Knowing how to lock pick came in handy. Fingertips pushed open the door fully allowing herself entrance into his trailer. Closing the door after herself. Quiet steps leading her towards the kitchen. She flipped on the coffee maker. Draining the old grounds and putting in fresh ones of her favorite blend. Pouring out the old cold coffee from the pot, she replaced after a good cleaning with water. The water was poured into the coffee maker. She set the pot back on the heating ring.
Swiping her hands on her jeans as she headed towards Ker's room. Boots hardly making a sound. Each step knowing where to go so the floor boards of his trailer wouldn't creak. Pushing the door open. Ariadne walked around the other side of the bed. One hand bracing the bed as she took a seat. Leaning over she heard a snap, the pressure of both of them on the bed was too much. Standing quickly. Lips frowning, looking nearly mad when the bed finally broke sending Ker onto the floor.
The sudden awakening and his assumptions of her tossing him on the bed set her lips into a further line of anger. She turned away when he went to get up and promptly fell, tripping on his own sheets. Served him right. Already heading towards the table, though she thought twice about sitting down. If Ker's bed was any indication of his craftsmanship, she was worried she'd fall right through the chair. Taking the corner of one wall as her post she let him have his say.
"I didn't throw you out of bed, Ker. Your bed broke. I don't throw people out of bed. Especially people who are doing me a favor by keeping Gwen off my back."
Reaching for her mug of coffee, she walked around him like she had done a million times before. Knowing the layout of his trailer as she knew her own. Grabbing the milk and sugar to sweeten her coffee. Pouring some milk and a few sugars she stirred it with a spoon. Leaving the spoon for Ker to use. The first sip of the hazelnut and mocha blend was pure heaven. Then the next followed the first sip and Aria sighed contently. Her steps slow and rather graceful leading her back to the corner of the kitchen.
"I trust you as far as I can throw you Ker. What I'm worried about most is you running off. For whatever reason. Mother father, grandfather a lost kitten you find on the road. Whatever. This Tribe is your family too. We did not give you life the way your birth mother did but we are family."
She shook her head lightly. Her nose over the cup of coffee. The smell easing her shoulders, though Ariadne knew she would be tense later.
After Ker gathered his thoughts, and poured his cup of coffee. Barefeet scruffed on the surface of the kitchen floor twords the table, pulling out a chair and being seated. Raising the coffee mug to his lips as he took a sip eyes quickly raising glancing at her over the rim as he drunk his coffee. Sitting the cup down on the table quickly as if he burnt his tounge or his lip but that was not the case it was what she said that gotten his attention.
"You'd think I'd run off if we had a child togeather?"
The look on his face said it all, Ker was good at hidding emoitions and fears but not around her. She knew him like a book on how he felt with things like this, and that look in his eyes she saw said Go ahead say it again make me hurt. He was quite dissapointed but the two of them never talked about that day and on the other hand doing a favor for her Ker would do anything for her taking a breath he didn't blame her for thinking this about him, he didn't blame any of the rest of them thinking about this.
"My father left me and my mother, when I was a boy. Don't mistaken me as him"
Leaning back into his chair he was slightly discusted besides Ker loved childeren he even trainned the younger ones the man would never abuse his role as a Father. "Im sorry I left you-- well that does show that Im like my father doesn't it?" Leaning forward his arms rested on the surface of the table, looking away from her as his finger tips drumed on the table this quite upset him he was turnning into a man that he never ever, ever, wanted to be.
"We both know, I came back and when I left to go do some runs its all a black out from there. I did come back home though and I know bringing myself back does not find me worthy to other people, and I know most or some think you shouldn't have let me come back. I know what people say about me, but I've come to a point where I just brush them off my shoulder and go on. That's what normal people do in their everyday lifes living in this city"
Fingertips raised and raked down his jaw, brushing them through his beard Ker didn't bother to even get a hair cut trim for it was a little longer he looked like he was about to go evil on them all maybe he wanted a new look.
