Art was becoming to used to his position with the Vampire that kept him. Of the nights filled with being the animal companion to Faith..And yes Art found himself slowly growing found of the beautiful creature of the night. Wouldn't Nehmain throw the tantrum of the decade...Even worse then the one that had put him in the position he was in now. Not only had he found the man who he once loved and the woman that stole his heart oh so many years ago...But he was slowly becoming happy in his life.
But the fact was his life was boring. He lived his days at the coffee shop reading Jane Austin or dear Emily...His nights with Azrael or one of his. Very few moments were spent with Caine...Or gasp...Aurora. His beautiful snow white...So now he could take it no longer...Never one for phones..Thinking those things were truly beyond him he left Bliss in search of them...The address of the sister stone in hand...Perhaps he could find some kind of work with her.
Maybe pick up where he left off fifty years ago....But not so naked. The memory of her face when she found him naked in the bed like a....Cat with out a care in the sunlight that flooded Caine's bedroom....Oh those truly had been the days...Nights of passion with the mass of women at the Moulin Rouge....And days of perusing his own Jane.
White heeled shoes tapped along the wooden floors of the villa. Assistant/body-guard and driver watched his mistress as she moved talking into the slim device. Her voice in rapid French fuming. The language made it so it would never sound anything but romantic. Though Aurora was clearly upset as she paced back around the table. Tobias Dawson could do nothing but watch the elegant woman as she finally tossed the device at him. He glanced at the number and hung up. Aurora slammed her hands on the table.
This time it was not Caine who had been rattling her cage. Her brother was still the devilish man he always was. This time it was business. Something that Aurora was just as passionate about. Long lashes hovered over her cheeks as she took in a deep breath. Tobias moved to wonder into the kitchen. He was setting a kettle on the stove to make his employer a pot of tea.
Moments later his large black hands slipped along her shoulders. White fabric whispered against her shoulders as the thin straps of her dress were moved. A sigh crossed her lips feeling the heat of Tobias' hands as they worked the sore muscles. His strong fingers kneading at her skin. Delicate she may appear, though she was made of stronger things. The French she spoke was hushed now. She was upset still that the deal had fallen through. It didn't matter she had more people wanting to sell her perfume at their stores. Still it unnerved her.
Art truly did love the summers. Maybe it was the constant warmth of the sun..Or the longer days...Maybe both. But it was the women..And the lack of clothes they wore. The way their skin glistened in the sun...He wondered as he walked if his vampire companions missed this..Being able to bask in the sun. Especially his Faith. It seemed a shame that she could no longer bask in the sun in a swim suit near the pool.
She was a child of the dark and the world of the light will truly muss her. Making a quick stop at a little flower stand he would grab some flowers. Lilacs. Simple yet beautiful. Only a block to go and he would be there. His heart slammed against his rib cage. It truly had been to long since he seen the siblings. And the times he had since coming to Rome hadn't been long enough for any of them,.
Soon he arrived at the address...He could barely breath. So nervous. So very nervous. Would she be there? The one who once captured his heart? Or would the man who seared his skin with passion and burned himself into Arts very soul be home?He loved them both. Would spend a eternity in hell just to be part of them again..
