Visiting Lexie
Permalink Closed

-Sean was liking Rome. What wasn't to like. There were pretty ladies and plenty to do. Though not as many comic book stores as he might have liked. And he missed the St Francis Clinic back in Salem, but he was happy to be in Italy and with the pack just the same. As he made his way towards the Hookah he clutched a cup of to go coffee from a Starbucks down the street. He had to have his Starbucks. Even though Italy had great coffee he wanted what was familiar. He'd gotten a mocha for Lexie as well and was trying to hold onto both in one hand. In his other hand he was flipping through a new graphic novel he'd gotten with his favorite anti-hero Dexter Dom. DarkWorld was the wildest graphic novel series ever.-

-Pushing his way through the door of the Hookah he wasn't surprised that there were no customers because of how early it was. But he knew Lexie had been working there and he wanted to talk to her about getting a job doing the same. Thus the coffee was a bribe. The shirt he wore was bright green with The Hulk on the front in darker colors, and his jeans were a few sizes too big on his small frame. Bright red hair stood up in a crazy mess because he could never remember to brush it out. So when he got up to the bar he set down the coffees and the book and ran his fingers through his hair.-

"Heya Lexie! I brought you a mocha. Super hot and full of sugary caffeine goodness!"

-Taking a seat on one of the barstools he waited for her to join him and when she did he grinned so big it could have broken the wattage of a bulb. He pushed the Grande Mocha towards her across the bar before toasting her with his own coffee, which was a syrupy caramel macchiato.-

"Morning Lex."

-Standing on the bottom rung of the barstool he leaned across the bar so he could brush her cheek with his own in a warm lycan type of greeting. The fox inside him chittering and happy at her company.-

"Its Sean! Its Sean!" Lyric called out to well no one really. Since no one could hear her. She hated that the most. The fact she could talk and talk and no one could hear her. Especially when she got things before everyone else and couldn't share the information. Or saw things when no one else did and she couldn't say anything. Actually she could say a lot but no one hear it. It down right sucked to tell the truth.

Presently she was cheerful screaming out for the ginger fox. Rushing over to Sean her arms wide open the second she touched Sean, arms closing she slipped right through him falling on her specter face. Lyric got back up and tried again. Arms wrapping around Sean which again she just went through him.

"This just sucks!" She called out in frustration. Lyric did the only thing she could think of at the moment. She plopped herself on the counter and listened.

Working was comfortable, soothing even, on most days. She was used to Barbie, used to Vasha yelling at her to take the night off to go get some rest, used to all the little problems that could spring up in the kitchen. Even though Silent was back, Lexie was still lending a hand doing paperwork and playing bartender while the Lupa took care of the Asylum. So, this morning she was in the kitchen checking over the stores and marking things off on her checklist.

A familiar voice brought her head jerking up so that she bumped it on the shelf above her. A curse and glare were directed at the offending shelf as she rubbed at the sore spot. The heels of her boots made their click-clacking sound as she headed out to the front. As was usual, she was dressed to kill… black pleather pants hugging her hips and her favorite blue corset-style tank.

At the sight of Sean her smirk turned into a bright grin and she hurried over to set her clipboard down. “Sean! Good morning, luv. How are you?” The coffee was more than welcome and she gave him a salute before she sipped from the cup. Then as he leaned toward her, she leaned to meet him, giving a cheek rub as well as a hug. While she was at it, she tucked the tag of his shirt down.

(gah I dropped the ball. sorry)

-If Sean felt anything when Lyric hugged him he didn't know that he did. Essentially he was a psychic black hole. A place where psychic energy went to die. He wouldn't know a ghost from a stick in the mud. Which was unfortunate cause Sean had really like Lyric and if he'd known she was sitting right there on the counter he would have at least tried to look up her skirt slyly.-

"Oh pretty good Lex."

-Fingers roughly rumpled over his short red hair and then he folded his hands on the bar and rested his chin on the back of them. Eyes rolled up to look up at her as he grinned at her goofily.-

"And may I mention for what I am sure is not the first time how amazing you look in those pants. Pleather is a privelege, not a right."

-Grinning foolishly he would enjoy the reaction whether is was mock flirtation or an outright scolding, but some things just had to be said. After that was done he lifted his head up and picked up his drink taking a long drink and coming away with a thin whipped cream moustache that made it even harder to take him serious. At least until he had licked it off.-

"So you guys got any jobs available by any chance." -The smile was helpful and then when he exhaled his shoulders slumped slightly.- "I've checked all the hospitals and clinics around here. They all want blood tests. And the lycan clinic here already has a full staff so I thought..."
