Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night
And wouldn't you love to love her
Takes to the sky like a bird in flight
And who will be her lover

It was beautiful the way the water rippled when the smooth wet surface of the pounds tranquility was interrupted by a fallen leaf, twig or some other small particle. It was a dream where you know you are dreaming but it still feels so very real. Lost in the imperfect beauty of it's twisted reality was a young woman with long chest nut brown locks, locks so dark they could easily be mistaken for black. Eyes of faded mocha were tinged with a unusual string of violet and were bright and large against a face pale as a snow's first dusting.

Her frame was slender and looked as if it could be easily blown aside by a heavy gust of wind. Small hands and even smaller feet were easily seen upon the woman child. Young and innocent the female gifted the name Rhianna appeared to be. Yet with in lingered a fire that dared to be stoked.Only time would tell if the young paranormal would dwell inside her being to reach it or if she would easily succumb to the magically well ministrations played out by others. Standing there quietly on the cliff's edge she continued to stare down endlessly at the pond below. Every time something took to disturbing the water she would shift her head to the side and allow her gaze to follow the ripples. Counting silently to herself, dressed the same way she often was when lost admist in this dream. A white victorian dress with ruffles and silk ribbons wrapped it's self lovenly along her petite form. It ended just above her glass slippered feet.

In one gloved hand she held a red rose and used the other hand to pluck petals off. One by one she allowed them to slip from her gentle finger tips to cascade down and crash against the water. The ripples grew in length and she found herself taking a step closer. The rose ran out of petals to pluck and Rhianna found herself offering up a quiet sigh. That is when the first rain drop was felt against her cheek. Eyes came to a close as she took to tilting her head back, for a moment the cold drops could be felt lavishing wet kisses along the long slender column of her neck but then they were shut off as she pushed them aside. It rained everywhere else around the woman but seized in it's touch to her. Eyes would flutter open, one hand rose to the air above her head to feel the imaginery line she tugged upon in order to redirect the flow of the rain.

Her other hand clutched into a tight fist around the crimson rose. Light reflected off of her eyes to sparkle against the wave of rain that bent over here and then down in her own personal waterfall to hit against the pond. A voice she didn't know spoke out to her so she turned in order to match it with it's unknown host but like usual in the dream the owner of the voice was not there. Pain quick and effiecent touched the palm of her clutched hand so fingers were extended and down fell the petal less rose along with a few drops of her blood. The blood and dead rose splattered at her slippered feet creating a canvas of contrasted colors.

Something was coming up behind her so Rhianna turned loosing one glass shoe in the process and over she went falling from the cliff. Eyes of violet turbulence looking over her shoulder through the mess of brown tangles for a brief moment before turning to meet the water. Eyes caught sight of her own reflection before the water splintered apart into a thousand crazed ripples as she sunk into it's murky depths..

" Rhianna "....

Her name being called had her pulling from the dream with a gasp. She came to full awareness on her knees beside her bed. Dressed in a pair of flannel pajamas she rose to her feet meeting the mirror across her room with her eyes. Perhaps she had only imagined her name being called, heaven knows it wouldn't have been the first time. Crossing her arms over her chest she shivered and made her way over to her balcony. The only real luxury allowed to her since she was limited to time out in the city. It was cold outside but not nearly as cold as her own personal prison of a room, moving to the railing she took to leaning a hip along it and allowed her gaze to rake along the busy patrons below. All of her life from as far as she could remember she had stayed locked beside her captor and yet though she knew there was little chance of eluding him a small part of her still hoped to find something out there in Rome. Looking for something or someone, there had to be more to her existence then this. Surely she wasn't the only misunderstood odd individual out in the world.

The radio in her room blared to life due to a alarm set to it by the child vampire. In a little while she would be allowed to wander the streets in order to perform a small list of chores. The song playing over the speakers was always the same. It had been one her parents had often ed sang to her as a small child and thanks to her memory it was a song the others in the house hold now used.

All your life you've never seen a woman
Taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven
Will you ever win

She is like a cat in the dark
And then she is the darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark
And when the sky is starless
