Doing as she was told. Whisper gathered the phone and dialed the house of the Primogen. Only after a few rings did she get the sleepy voice of Sam on the other end.
"Sam, this is Whisper. I'm calling to ask from my Mistress; Eden. In the next twenty four hours if she could have an audience with your Master; the Primogen of Rome Valentino."
The message was very curt and held all the titles. It was something she had learned from her days at court. Back when she had such obligations.
"Thank you."
The thank you was added lastly. For creatures her age there was no thank yous or please. Her people might actually find insult in hearing a thank you. Hearing Sam's answer she would hang up soon after a simple good bye. Then it was time to get ready for the morning shift of people that came in to work out.
As she stood outside the Primogens residence she seethed with a quiet sort of rage. Not only had the man ignored all the vampires in the city, but he had now failed to appear for their meeting. Not like it was about anything important, only some secret government types coming around snatching vampires.....no big deal! Edens long fingers were clenched into fists then released, only to be clenched again. At the moment her normally calm demeanor was as turbulent as it ever got. Which really wasn't saying much.
Eden in a pique of temper was still about the quietest unobtrusive person in the world. Yet the urge was there, to release her power and destroy something. Faith missing, Azrael hunting the government, and Valentino couldn't even be bothered to meet with her. Of course she had no idea that he was currently a victim of the Kadra's, but even if she had she might have blamed him anyway. After all, if he'd been using her as a guard like he had pledged her to be then he would be safe. But he never used her, never contacted her, never anything.
Heading for where she had left her car she slid into the front seat and sat there a long moment staring out the front windsheild. Thoughts raced through her mind. The most prevalent being that she should go find Azrael and offer to join him in his mission, at least then she'd be saving a vampire and possibly getting to kill things. Her teeth bit at her lower lip as she turned the engine over and listened to it hum. Wanting to go, but stopping herself. Until her oath to Tino was severed she could not disobey him or desert him, even if she wanted to. Her blood wouldn't permit it.
