With his brand new cell phone he flipped it open and looked at the clear shiney screen that stared back at him. The man at the store had showed him how to do most everything on the phone, from take pictures to navigate the internet. His hand moved through the black coat of Kit who laided silently on the bed next to him. It was almost time for him to retire, the rerun of a rather interesting show that he hadn't got to watch before. It had gone to commercial now and he opened the short list of conacts. Finding Roxanna's number without much seaching he went into the call.

It was late, she most have been in bed already. "Hello, this is Alix, we met at the park. I was hoping that we could get that cup of coffee soon, but I think we should talk over something longer. How about dinner? I'll cook."

The phone flipped shut and it left his heart pounding, he had just asked her to come over to discuss more then just a friendly get together. He wanted to be trained, to beable to step into her footsteps and become as strong as her. Just that one transformation in the park had left him stunned at what she could do. He had never been able to do clothing and being able to fly would have been something he always wanted to do.

It was late in the evening, and Roxy was surely awake. She just finished putting a thin fur layer on her new "rug," and laid it on the floor in front of the doorway. It looked absolutely beautiful there, and people, whoever they may be, that would walk in her apartment could feel the furry skin beneath their feet, soft and welcoming. With her trusty man beside her on the table, Jack Daniels, she laid in bed in a silk, crimson robe and turned on the TV. It was the first night in a long time that she didn't have dinner meetings or agents calling her left and right.

She spoke too soon. Her phone vibrated beside her, and looking at the new voicemail, she dialed it. It was Alix, the young shapeshifter she met at the park. Dinner, hm? My my, she had left an impression on him that extremely perked his interest. She wondered what he really wanted to talk about. She called him back, and seemingly it was late at night, she too, left a voicemail.

"Hey little shifter, its Roxy. Dinner sounds great. I'll be at your apartment and we can have dinner in the next few days or so. I'm dying to know what you want to talk about." Her voice was silk like a black widow's thread, but entwined with a sense of humor.
