Silent wasnt big on many holidays...But Halloween and Valentines Day always got to her. She couldnt help but be caught up in the fever of it. So Today she wasnt working...Nope she was shopping. Picking up little gifts and odds and ends for the dinner she planned to cook tommorrow night. She had made many stops...Florist...Convenient like stores...Even a package store or two.
The florist would be sent off with two strange bouquets of flowers. One would go to a certain tigress and the other to the primogen.
Jane would be sent a half a dozen of yellow roses with big bright sunflowers in it. The card would read: My Jane. <3 S.
A case of janes favorite whiskey would accompany the flowers.
A dozen roses would be sent to Tino's house..Only most of the actual roses would be gone leaving the stems. Was it Silents kind of sign to say hey thanks for forgetting me? Who knows. But only a single orange and pink rose would be in the middle of the thorns. Silent would put a card in it...But she didnt write on it...Only rubbed her cheek against it so it carried her scent..But that all it would have to give away who sent them..In actuallity..thats all it needed.
The next stop after the florist would be the occult store that one of Milo's rats worked at. There she would pick up the oldest book Silent could find...It looked interesting enough...And well since Silent was sure alot of things were lost in Paradises downfall...She hoped it was a gift that would be appreciated.
Sir Azrael. I know you have many books...But hopefully this will be a nice addition to your large library. I hope one day our paths will cross once more. I would be a liar if I said I didnt miss our lessons. I hope one day we can start them again. The friendship you once gave me was treasured.
-Silent.
The package of both book and letter would be sent to Bliss. In hopes that Bruno or Chad would see the vampire and pass it on to him.
Now came the pack. Now that the outsiders had been taken care of. A bunch of chocolate covered strawberries..And candy heats along with small chessy valentine day cards that had the most ugly dogs in the world on it...Which screamed of Silents pug that followed her around for the last four years. Would be scattered about the pack house..A gift for each person in the pack house. Both new and old.
And at last...Came the present that Silent had to turn almost all of Rome over to find. A super duper large first aide kit. A present for the Ulfric. One that made her giggle for a hour when she bought it. But that wasnt the only thing that would be left for Ash...No Silent had been hard at work to finnish something for her mate. She had been clearing out the green house at the asylum for her Ash. It was a present...And she was sure the exotic flowers would be there anyday...
Ash---
This is only one of many gifts. Come to the Asylum and see your other.
~He had a copy of this book already, something anyone could buy at an occult store provided they could read Latin. The book was held balanced in the palm of his hand as he thumbed through the many gold leafed pages. Silent was not the sod of which he spoke, of course. Rather it was the man who claimed her that Azrael felt sorry for. He'd had enough of women whose hearts were taken. In his minds eye he saw Jane, and that look in her eye when she kissed him. Shapely lips set themselves in a scowl as he shut the book with a sharp noise and tossed it into the fire. As the flames licked the pages he was reminded of the goose-stepping nazi morons who had burned books in Germany.~
~There had not been a friendship between them, and the one lesson had been a simple thing. If the wolf wanted a vampire to play with then she would have to seek her toy elsewhere. Azrael's haunting blue eyes watched the flames as the darkness of the night warmed his soul. It was time to hunt, and take out his need on some unfortunate in the city. Lately there was only one thing that quieted the hunger of his soul, and that was the blood. Sating one desire helped to dull the others. Though the taste of his enemies haunted him. For now that was all that he could manage.~
Sam brought Tino the stems and flower to the library, where he spent most of his time, handing off the card silently, knowing what this little gift would cause. He had no need or desire to be around his Master when he realized what they were. Laying them on the table as Tino stood motionless at the picture window, Sam snuck out silently, leaving them for Tino to find.
Tino had heard Sam enter, already smelling the fragent scent of the swamp wolf. Jaw clenching, he slowly turned, his eyes focusing on the little bundle left on the side table for him. A sigh erupted from plush tiers, hand reaching out to swipe his arm across the table knocking the gifts into the trash.
He was through playing her games. He was not going to be a pawn in them again, she had a mate and needed to quit toying with the vampires and let them be. Turning back to the window, gazing out into the night, he plotted.
