Llidya flipped the card over in her hand as she sat on her bike, debating on giving the man a call. He'd said to call, and he'd seemed genuinely worried about Lyl when that whole, thing went down at the Bistro the night before. With a sigh, she dialed the number. After a few moments she got a voicemail, with that unprogrammed feminine voice that you get when it's not programmed. Except in Italian.
"Hey Valentino. It's Chapman, you know, from the Bistro? Listen, I got a bit of a problem. Lyliyana, you met her, well, I need to find some place for her to stay for a short while. Too dangerous to stay with me. And to be frank, she doesn't mind vampires...used to be really good friends with one, actually. So if you could help me out, I'd owe ya one."
She hung up the phone, watching Lyliyana move in and out of the doors of the building as she was making last minute decisions. Lyl had said she'd really liked the nice man that Llidya was having water with, and so she hoped the feeling was mutual to some extent. She knew she wouldn't be able to put up with a lot of Lyliyana's happy go lucky attitude. Not many people had the tolerance. She settled her gaze on the vampire, wondering how in the hell the stoic man had been able to survive for so long near her. They'd have to get something to eat before Llidya decided on a destination. If anything, she knew that Lyliyana would be safe in a den of vampires, especially with Hector there. He'd already sworn his allegiance to Valentino, she'd found out. So there was already something going there. Chapman just hoped it panned out.
