"What do you mean you can't seem to get in touch with him?"
Llidya straightened from her seat at the kitchen table. She'd managed to clean up the food, and she'd tossed her ruined clothes. The broken chairs were in a corner and the stuffing that had been pulled from the couch was trashed.
"Alright. Yeah ok. I'll be out there in a bit." With that, Llidya hung up the phone and stood, picking up the folder of information she had meant to give Ash, and had been carrying around. The man was probably working on something. Or just ignoring the world, who knew? Llidya knew she could get like that at times. She should leave him a voicemail. She had no idea she'd already done so, as the whole being drunk was a bit of a fuzzy memory. After a moment, she decided against it and moved outside to get on her bike. Loke's bike would be arriving that day, at the pack house. Delivery guys were to drop off the BMW bike that matched her BMW car. It was a surprise.
Chapman glanced at the names on the list, and lifted her phone to dial. After a few rings, she got voicemail.
"Hey yeah, this is Chapman. I'm looking for Mary Jane Bradshaw. If you could give me a call back at (this number), I look forward to talking with you. It's about the business, by the way."
Llidya hung up the phone, and slid the folder into the slim bag she'd had there originally for Loke's laptop. The other two people she was about to call were already in her phone. She placed the bluetooth reciever on her ear and slid on her helmet, before swinging her leg over the bike.
"Call Leni." She waited for the phone to repeat back, and confirmed. After the first couple of rings, the wolf picked up. Llidya started up the bike, and started on her way, talkin to Leni. "Hey, it's Chapman. I need you to meet up with some people for me. It's about the business. I was going to do it, but now I've got some other stuff to do, and I think your a good judgement of your techno stuff as well." Llidya laughed, and they chatted a moment more before the call ended. She told her phone to dial the next number as she got closer to town.
"Hey Frost, it's Chapman. Redfern talked to you about the business, right? Great. Listen, I was supposed to meet up with some of my guys in the polizia to get the full scoop on the local mob scene, and I can't make it. Think you could do that for me? I mean, if you're not busy or-oh. Oh great. Thanks. Alright, I'll let them know it's you and they'll help ya out. I'll talk to you later. Bye."
Llidya navigated the narrow streets of Rome, making phone calls. One in particular had piqued her interest. The business would be off to a running start, if things kept going as smooth. Still, she couldn't help but wonder what Ash was up to. He'd disappeared before, going off to kill some vampires and other such monsters. When a month was up, then she'd be worried.

A low whistle escaped her lips as she looked at the wreckage of a building before her.
"And it used to be a church?" Mouse nodded at her question, a smile on his lips.
"The Eternal Church. Has some great sort of catacomb thing going on in the foundation."
Already, the possibilities were flying through her head, and they settled on one. She knew Ash was looking at buildings as well, but she liked this site. Mainly because some monsters had placed their headquarters here, and now it was gone. It would just the kick in the balls to bad guys everywhere if they built Mystic on top of it.
It would be a monument to change, a sign to the monsters out there, vampires, lycans and unknowns alike. Here is where this evil church fell, and in it's place will rise a monument to change. That the good guys had taken a stand, and were now here to stay. Llidya didn't know who blew up the place, but she didn't care either. Whatever the cost was, she knew she could afford it. She just hoped Ash liked the idea as much as she did. Building a testament of good atop the ruins of evil, it was just the picture of irony, and if she really thought about it, it could be a symbol of hope.
Llidya turned to look at Mouse, giving the larger man a hearty slap on the chest.
"Alright. Buy it. I want every inch of the place combed through, before we tear it down and rebuild. Full layout of those catacombs too." He nodded, and she started to leave when she turned, remembering about that Embri chick. "And Mouse, find the best thief you can get your hands on. I need someone to steal something for me that is beyond my...abrasive tactics." At those words, she smiled, and he nodded. "That Embriella Griffen copied those files, and I don't know if she's got them on a flash drive, disk or hard drive. I just know I need them back." A grin flashed across her face as he was already on the phone before she stopped speaking. That was how she got things done.
