Eyes snapped open, the fading nightmare of a alarm clock chasing her trying to stab her with it's arms was beyond weird. She groaned throwing her arm over her face as she turned into the warmth that was Evie's body, burrowing into her backside before her cellphone started to ring again. It hadn't been an alarm clock but rather her cellphone ringing at some ungodly hour. Mummbling about killing who ever was on the other line she dropped her legs off the bed and snagged her cellphone up off the nightstand, hurrying in a stummble out of the bedroom to not wake Evie up with more of the racket.
Once the door was closed behind her she hit the green button and lifted the Blackberry to her ear. "Loke." Her voice was rough with sleep, as she padded through Llidya's house quietly in the semi darkness. The voice that answered her was Italian and she frowned thinking it was a prank call. "English, I don't speak Italian." She dropped into the couch in the living room, wondering if her voice would reach the sleeping Evie and Llidya. There was a few words spoken and the phone sounded like it was being passed to someone else. She sighed heavily rubbing at her eyes. Her head was throbbing with the oddness of her nightmare. First it was that red headed crack whore that had made her beast want to go crazy and then Llidya screaming at her and demanding her blood back and then finally the alarm clock chasing her.
"Ms Asing, yes?" The voice was male and very thickly accented english. Loke frowned slightly and pulled the phone away from her ear to glance at the number. It wasn't one she knew, she put the phone back to her ear and cleared her throat.
"Yes, this is her. Can I help you with something?"
"We found a motorbike this evening on fire, the plates are registered to you."
Loke's blood drained out of her face. FUCKING SHIT! She had forgotten about her bike in the hurry to leave Saint Peters Square and left it there, parked in the parking lot. "Holy shit, I completely forgot about my bike! I was at Saint Peters Square last night, and I saw a friend. She gave me a ride back to her house. I completely forgot about it." Granted there was more to the story but they didn't need to know about that. "Did you find my laptop..? " Holy shit, holy shit, please let that have survived. She dropped her head into her hand and rubbed at her temple the pounding growing in strength.
"No ma'am we did not. Can you come down to the station to answer some questions?" Loke inwardly groaned and took a deep breath, her life sucked right now. Everything was on that laptop, all the information about her businesses, and her bank accounts as well as all her personal information. Both attorney's and what not.
"Yes, I'll be there when I can get a ride. Thank you for calling." Loke listened for the phone to click as the officer on the other end hung up. She dropped her cell from her ear and dialed Michael. It would only be late afternoon for him. Once he picked up she explained the situation, telling him to freeze all her assets. Not to allow anything to be bought with her name and to start the paperwork to pause everything that was in her name. As well as to start a insurance claim on her bike, this was going to blow big time. Her head dropped and she had herself a right pity party after hanging up with Michael, managing to shed some tears for herself before moving off to find Llids.
