Margie Simmons was a woman who did her job extremely well. Which was why Llidya paid her the salary that she did. The plot of land was snatched up and planning for construction finished almost before it started. The hardest part was hiring the construction crew, which was a snap.

And so, a few hours later, Llidya found herself working along side Guisseppe to clear out her plot for a foundation. They were all sweating from the laborious work, despite the fact that it hadn't topped fifty degrees fahrenheit. Hell they'd even shed their long sleeves for t-shirts and wife beaters. As the work progressed, Llidya was delighted to see how fast they were going.

"You realize, Chapman, that you are paying us to do this work so that you do not have to."

Llidya merely grinned as she hefted up a good sized log and carried it over to the pile they were making, her wolf sauntering right along. This was the third time that Guisseppe had pointed this out to her, and it still amused her everytime. "Look at it in this way Guisseppe, rather, I'm paying you so that I don't need to do this by myself." Her reply was in the same fluency of Italian as he had spoken, though without the accent. She let him contemplate that for a moment as she grabbed up another log. She settled her Bahamas-clear water blues on his face as it broke out into a grin and he shook his head.

"You are very strange."

"So I've been told..." She muttered with a grin to herself. As she dropped off that last log, she turned to look at the little plot, placing her hands on her hips. It was going to be a good place. There wasn't a neighbor for miles, just the way she liked it. At the rate they were going, the house would probably be done in a little more than a week. She'd offered up extra to expedite the process, for as much as she didn't mind sleeping in her car, it could get a bit tiring. She couldn't wait to get the walls up. For once, she was actually thinking about just building a house.

Okay, moment was over, and she moved towards the nearly cleared area to finish up the last of the debris. It was entirely too quiet while they worked, she decided. She straightened, wiping her brow.

"Guisseppe, I will be bringing some Bose in tomorrow so we can rock out while we work. All right?"
