Sleep was not something she was privy too at the moment.  After Shane had given her order's the little soldier went right to work.  First off, she made sure there was a passport ready and waiting for each of the Nest members including Faith because there was no time to waste.  It was only after that tedious process of forging it and making it look real that she turned to her computer system.   Her fingers had flown over the keys as she dumped the two names into the system.  Suprizingly, more information then she had anticipated flooded her system.  It took time to read it all, in which they where all short on of late.

Both names, Silent and Harry, both owners of businesses in town.  One made her smirk, how many times had she been into the Lava Lounge drinking.  She'd been a hot spot and not even realized it.  A police report from the Lava Lounge was dated just one day earlier where most of the building was warped with intense heat exposure.  This made her frown, maybe they really where up against Pele.

Eventually, through public records and owner records of the two buildings she was able to pull up a home address.  It seemed this address was connected to moving companies and some art gallery.  One could only assume it was the same through out.  It was only early in the morning when it finally clicked, the transport crates at the Harbor had a destination on them.   A satisfied smirk curled her lips upward.  Nori turned to see Harley completely sound asleep on the couch, through the doorway of the room.   Harley had been true to her word and not left her alone.  Though how she was going to meet up with Solomon with Harley... hmmm.

"Harley!  Wake up!"  Leaving her computers for the moment she went to the living room and shook the snake awake.  "Listen, we've got a location.  I need you to take these back to Shane, these are the passports for the rest.  They should work.  Passports are really not my ideal area of expertise.  You might as well start packing what you need too at the skate park, I'll get a moving company to get our stuff together.  I have to start packing here. "

That and it would give her time to meet up with Solomon, and Evelyn.  Although, as much as she really didn't like either of them, they did deserve to know where she was going and why she was going.

There had been no time to loose both Harley and Nori went to work on acquiring all of the things that they would need but when it came to computers Nori was the shit there so Harley left the Asian to the task of putting together the passports while she collected Faith from the woman's apartment. She had helped Faith gather her things swiftly and then had the reporter back at the skate park within the hour. Apparently Nori hadn't noticed when the two had arrived back for she was typing and hacking away at the metal contraption that would no doubt bring about the end of the world one day.

Harley sat lingering in the dark keeping a vigilant eye on Faith and had to smirk when Nori came in and immediately went about shaking the blonde woman assuming of course it was Harley.  Like the boa really had time to sleep?, truthfully she found it insulting but needless she liked the sadistic little cunt so she paid it no mind until Nori continued to shake Faith in a attempt to wake her. The poor reporter needed her sleep because the ride was far from over yet, with a hiss she slithered over and threw a hand out to catch Nori by the back of her neck and then with a flick of her wrist she tugged her hard up against her body.

Dark coals stared relentlessly into the Asian's eyes, arms of unyielding strength crept around the tiny waist of Nori as she held her in a death drip. Her lips drew near the woman's ear as she gave a direct order and expected nothing more then complete compliance.

" Shut the fuck up Nori".

One arm still held her while the other one unrolled it's self to bring the hand up and first touch a finger to Nori's lips and then she pointed at Faith.

" She's trying to sleep.. I have already done the packing and called the truck, Faith is already packed and set to go the only thing left to do is give these passports to the Kadra. We are staying together got it?, I don't want no bitching that is the way it is going to be I am going to be so far up your fucking ass that you can't even take a shit with out first running it by me. If anything or anyone gets in my way of pleasing or obeying orders from my Kadra.. it or they are dead.... Comprendo?...."

Harley was far from stupid and had taken notice of the way Nori was acting, she knew there was something the Asian had to do or wanted to do but would not say. It was evident in her body language and scent. It seemed perhaps Nori had either underestimated her or thought her only capable of being a slut. Both assumptions would get her killed.

" As for your stuff being packed that can be taken care of by the movers as well. They should be here with in a few mins. Take my phone and give them a call if you haven't all your stuff her by now. Give them directions to your place to get your shit, if they don't have it with in fifteen minutes of arriving well then fuck it we will buy new shit for you when we reach our new destination"

Free hand moved up to cup the woman's face, Harley looked to her a moment before leaning in to press a hard kiss to her lips that ended with a light tear to Nori's bottom lip. Blood eased down the soft tissue and Harley waited til it fell to her collar bone before lowering her head to lick it clean off. Hand fell to cup at Nori's breast, squeezing briefly as thumb rolled the nipple there. A knock at the door Had Harley pulling away it seemed the movers had already arrived. A grin caresses the red head's lips, looking to Nori she spoke out in a hiss..

" Now go, greet them at the door and let them get to work. They might as well pack up the shit here first and then they can go to your place alone to collect your shit. Then you and I will go meet Shane, I am calling Shane now to let her know we will be greeting her in twenty minutes. So go hurry and no funny shit we haven't the time for anything or "anyone"....

Hand moved back to her hair and collected it as her other arm pulled away. She winked to Nori then gave her a shoved toward the door. Other hand delivering a quick slap to her ass, Harley turned to check on Faith..

Bleary eyed and sleep deprived, she hadn't felt like this since her tour in Iraq.  She stared at Harley as she gripped her away from Faith.  God damn she was out of it.  There wasn't much she could say in anyway to avoid the trap Harley put her in.  So she could only nod, although she did add offhandly a few mummbled words of agreement.  Harley couldn't watch her all the time and the minute she turned her back on her she would be gone.  It was simply things Nori had to do.  She could trust the moving company to move the stuff in her house but it was the stuff below her house, in the basement that she knew that the movers couldn't see.

"Fine."  She stated quietly, that tingle that rolled down her body at the taste of her own blood was not for Harley but rather for herself. Blood just about did it for her.  She couldn't help it, licking at the cut left behind as she stummbled to the door to let the movers in.   Propping the door open she sunk down outside against the outside of the skateshop wall and lit a cigarette, one arm curled around her knees.  She knew Harley could smell her and see her so she lifted out her phone and texted while she could.

After she was done with the cigarette she flicked it away and returned to the interior of the Warehouse like skate park and watched in mute silence.  When Harley wasn't directing people where to go and what to pack she finally snagged her.

"There is stuff in a crawlspace under my place, I need it.  It's weapons.  It's not something I can trust movers to handle.  I don't care if you stand there and watch me pack it, but it has to come with me.  I'm not as indestructable as you are you know."  After all Shane had made sure Harley knew she was to be protected, couldn't blame the weak human if she didn't want some form of protection to where ever they where going.  And it looked like Spain by the shipping crates.  Barcalona to be precise.  With a glum look she had settled in against the couch that Faith was asleep on. A private plane was in it's way for the Reporter as well as a forged passport for her as well.

Two Days Ago.

Funny enough, Got The Life was blasting through the computer's speakers while Faith for a web page to finish loading.  With the activity being retched up a few notches the connection was down to Dial up speed. Something that made Faith feel like they had taken a jump back to 1998 when 56 Kbps was fantastic! After a moment of silence for good old days past, Faith  shifted in her chair, swerving slightly to the left to watch "Olson" rush by with fresh proofs in hand. It was bitter sweet in a way, he was finally getting good shots, but mostly of damaged property. But hey, bad things deserved as much coverage as the good. Faith was an expert, having built a career on reporting on the shitty side of life. It was shitty but it paid her bills. As if on que the page loaded and Faith frowned at the numbers. Well the advance came through. Hooray. What the hell was that char....Oh right. Shoes.

As far as book advances went, this one wasn't too shabby. There was an official name for it too. A Good Deal, or was it Fair?  Faith wasn't about to split hairs on the semantics, fact was, she was Rich....ish, kind of. The book was done, more or less. A baby hatched in secret from a need of recognition and too much coffee once upon a late night. Now all that remained was the editing, revisions, re-writes, and it would be done. When Faith submitted the manuscript to the publisher, she fully expected the polite "thanks but no thanks" letter and instead got a "why we'd love to" instead. It wasn't a Pulitzer, but there was time for that later. Eddie, the sly bugger that he was, sent a nomination in her name, the results were yet to come out. She wasn't supposed to know about that, something about wanting him to make it a surprise, but Faith wasn't good at her job for nothing. So instead she focused on other things to keep her mind from going to the dark place of "what if I don't win shit?"  Thankfully there was the book. A collection of articles and her first hand experiences with the supernatural dark side.

It was with guilty anticipation that Faith kept switching between browser tabs,
looking up trips to Europe, for two. Advance planning never hurt anyone. If the Pulitzer came through, maybe Shane wouldn't mind celebrating her victory with
Faith, in say...Ibiza.

"Danovan. Care to join the rest of us on planet Earth?" Even with the static of
the phone's intercom, Eddie's voice managed to sound annoyed yet bored at the same time. She had to learn how he did that, it was fantastic at making people squirm when  they spoke to him. And just as she was about to reply with a witty "Huh? Meeting?" Faith noticed the blinking mail icon on the tool bar. "Meeting, Conf Room 1. NOW people." Well that explained the meeting. "Be right there!" Note pad and pen in hand, Faith quickly made her way to the Conf  Room 1. All day everyone was talking a bout the press conference that the HIG was going to give on the resent earthly issues in Hawaii, and Faith was so getting dibs on that.

One Day Ago.

And just when things were going so well. Earth had to open up and threaten to swallow it all. Or at least a large chunk. Granted all of the surveys placed Faith's bongolo in the "non lava flow area" but that was like putting a guarantee on a "non earthquake area" somewhere in the middle of California. There were no guarantees when it came to Mother Nature, and Faith wasn't about to play hookie from responsibilities just because some piece of paper had  the house marked in a green instead of a red zone. So she had spent all day on the phone. Making sure the insurance on the house was up to date, that she did have coverage for this and that. Called her real estate agent to confirm that her deposit and rental fees weren't going to disappear should something happen to the  house when the Volcano blew its load. And just for shits and giggles that her passport was up to date. Hey, never know when you would need it. Seeing how you needed it to get into Canada these days. Canada! Like the world wasn't a sorry enough place already.

The voice mail beeping didn't even register at first. But when she checked it, Faith had to listen to the message a couple of more times. A jet? What? Confused, Faith was in the process of calling Shane back to get more details about these "friends" when her doorbell rang.  The phone was still ringing when Faith opened the door to find Nori and Pookie on the doorstep.

Present

To say that Faith was passed out was a gentle understatement. She was out cold. Dead to the world. Fireworks could go off next to her head and she still would have been out of it. So when Nori decided to wake her up Mommy Dearest Style, Faith could only grumble something about five more minutes and someone going to go fuck or be fucked by a goat, before lapsing back into sleep. Faith wasn't a morning person. Or an afternoon person. If it was before two, her body simply refused to function as was proper for a fully awake person. But despite her best efforts, she couldn't get back to sleep. Not being in her own bed, with other people in the house, and now the movers doing their thing, Faith gave up the ghost and climbed off the couch, feeling like an odd person out among all the activity.

Her suitcases were packed. Nearly everything in her closet fit into her luggage. Laptop, papers, all was packed into the neat carry on. And everything else was getting packed into boxes back at her house. One day and her world was getting packed up again. Not that she was too upset over it. Maybe that'd come later, but after a little over a year, Faith found that the only roots she put down in Hawaii, were the very people she would be sharing the plane with. Hiding a yawn behind her hand, Faith dodged a fat guy with a box, and went to find herself some coffee. If she was going to get  ready and then hop on a jet to a secret location (Nori and Harley were keeping Mum about the whole thing) she would at least do it with java in her veins.
