Juran had not run into Lexi in awhile, not really since that thank you dinner from Angel and it concerned him. Knowing she is about, but their times to meet up were just not there, so he decided to leave a note for her on her door. Smiling, he remembers first meeting her and the swim that they had issued almost a challenge, but pure fun of course. He sat down at his desk and wrote up a note, then follows the halls to her room and within an envelope, sealed and her name emblazoned with black marker, he slips it beneath her door.
Lexi, Hi, it's me Juran. How are you doing? I have not seen you about since the dinner, thought maybe we could catch up and... have that swim? You name the place and time and I will be there. We can make a day of it, lunch or dinner and swimming. I will leave you in my waves. ~she can almost see a grin at the last sentence~
After the dinner with Angel, Mahina, and Juran, the vixen had gone home. Not home to the pack house, but to her house. After all, there were only so many times a body could wear the same clothes, no matter how many times you mixed and matched. So, she'd spent a few days at her house doing laundry, eating what little was left in her refrigerator, and dusting. So, it was late in the afternoon when she got back to the pack house with one over-stuffed suitcase and her duffel bag. At first, the envelope went unnoticed while she put everything away, but it was soon scooped up, a look of puzzlement at the unfamiliar handwriting. Envelope was torn open to read over the note inside, a grin curling on her lips and a soft laughter being issued. So, Juran thought he could beat her in their little swimming wager, did he?
Shaking her head and still smiling, she scribbled her own quick note.
Juran, Had to see to a few things. So, you think you'll be the victor in our little swim, do you? Boardwalk, 9am on Saturday. Winner gets to pick the place, loser pays. Better make a stop at the bank before you come. See you then, Lexi
Another chuckle as she folded the paper and stuffed it into an envelope. Juran's name was written on the front and then she headed downstairs to pin the envelope to the fridge with a magnet. It couldn't be missed.
