The big peice that now rested in the Horde house living room, was the one that had taken the longest. The other peices how ever were a bit smaller. Only 2x2. There were four peices. Five if you counted the one in the living room. Kylie had spent a good portion of the day finishing foiling peices, and finally solidering and zincing, and putting on hooks and chains. The end results turned out rather nicely.
Two peices showing lions. One with a male and female for Damon and Ephony. One with a female standing pround in the tall grass for Sloane.
A note on each and set on the beds of Sloane, and of Damon and Ephony.
I know i've been a pain lately. And I apologize. All of this is hard to learn, but I hope you'll forgive me for being stupid and selfish and help me to learn.
Love, Kylie
For Adam, a peice that showed a grouping of tigers, orange and white with the lovely black stripes. jungle scene around them. Also lay on his bed, propped against the pillows.
Adam, You were right. It's time for me to grow up, and stop acting like a child. I'm sorry i caused trouble, and I promise to do better and follow the rules. I hope you like this.
Kylie
And last but certianly not least, came the one showing the leopard. A regal looking cat, perched on a tree branch in the jungle, over looking various others down below. This was was taken to the yacht, and left where Patsy was sure to find it right away. Or so she hopped. A note with it as well.
Patsy,
I know i can be annoying at times, and I really don't mean to be. I know we started on the wrong foot, and I hope you'll give me the chance to prove I'm not a stupid child that can't do as she's told. I'm trying to learn...and I promise to do better...I hope you enjoy this
Kylie
once all the gifts were left in their respective places, she went back to the house to finish the chapter in her biology book, as well as come up with a few new designs. Her brain already flying with ideas.
Ephony set her bags on the small coffee table they had in their room. The scent of Kylie still lingering in the air. Roman sandals covered her feet, long flowing skirts brushing along smooth dark legs. The note was lifted, reading the words. Pads of her fingers moved over the words with a small smirk resting on her lips. Leaning against Damon who had come around her. She sighed gently. He was all warmth and strength. A little sweaty from a work out. Note was set down again. The glass catching the fading light making the colors shine. Taking the piece in her hands.
"It is very beautiful isn't it Damon?"
Her accent filled her voice. Looking to her husband who nodded his head in approval. Ephony set it on the set next to the window. She would find a place to hang it soon. It was a very beautiful work of art. Perhaps she could get Kylie a job as an assistant in the art department. Ephony would remind herself later to thank Kylie for the present.
