After being woken up the day after, Mahina didn't feel like getting out of bed but with Angel rolling her out, leaving the room for her to place her suit on, she finally did. He was taking her to the Beach. After getting it on and collecting a bag of her usual various items, she was heading downstairs of the packhouse with the 'thump thump' of her flipflops. Coming to the kitchen where she smelled his scent coming from she dropped her bag to reach for a hug when he countered with the cordless house phone. "You promised first thing this morning, you would call Ash. Call him." She took the phone from Angel and nodded. Walking her way to the Living Room for privacy she sat down and dialed Ashes cell number, she didn't want to call his work. This was a pack call. For deep reasons she was nervous, scared that his initial reaction would be to punish her for what she did. She didn't do it to spite or disrespect him. She did it for the best interest for everyone of the pack. That meant him too.
As the rings went the voicemail prompt came on, Mahina took a deep breath, let it out to hear the beep for the message.....
"Ashes, it's Mahina. I know you are very busy at the moment, and I really wouldn't disturb you if it wasn't important. When you have some spare time soon, I really need to speak with you. It's important and regarding Anna Marie. Love you and see you soon."
She hung up, the love you was nothing more then what you say to someone that you did. Mahina does, not in a relationship sense. Totally in a plutonic way, he was her Ulfric. Standing to head in the kitchen and hang up the phone, Angel smiled, proud of her for making the call to get things rolling. It was hard for her and will be hard to not break down when she does speak with Ash. "Hey, Keanu is already waiting down the driveway I bet since I made the call ten minutes ago, let's go and get you out on the waves. You did the right thing, you know you did." Mahina pulled away to grab her bag and able to wipe at her eyes without him seeing and nodded. The pair was out to the Beach and to do some Surfing.
