Once Patsy and MJ had dropped her at the Horde house and seen her safely into her room, Kylie had curled up at the head of her bed after slipping her shoes off inside the door. Shivering a bit, she just stared at the door for a bit. As if she was afraid one of them would come back and punish her themselves right then and there. She hadn't ment to cause trouble..Yes...Sloane had said don't go near the vampires except for Marcus....But she hadn't had any choice in the matter. That power had called to her and Kylie just couldn't say no. She couldn't block it out and didn't know how to in any case.
Slowly she got up, and moved to her closet. Slipping free of jeans and tshirt. changing into her pajamas. The purple flannel soft against her legs. The tanktop hugging her upper body. She pulled her hair up into a pony tail as she crawled back on the bed and looked around her room. At the things she'd started to accumulate over the last few weeks....she'd just got here...And she finally felt like she had a family....granted she didn't always understand that family...and the fact that they didn't seem to punish you by beating the ever loving shit out of you was deffinatly a plus. Hugging a pillow to her chest, the first few tears started to roll down her cheeks. She didn't want to be sent away....
The look on Patsy's face when she'd said she was restricted to her room, and had to stay there untill Adam decided what to do with her, was what had scared...and hurt the most. That one look and that one statement about sending her to some all girl lycan bording school in switzerland had the girl realizing how badly she'd misjudged Patsy.....She'd always thought the woman liked her. She'd been so nice to her from the start...and every time since then...untill now. Kylie had thought she'd liked her...and she herself had always liked the nimir ra...and now..Shakeing her head she closed her eye's, burring her face in her pillow. She didn't want to go to switzerland.
She didn't want to be made to leave...she liked it here...She tried not to cause trouble. But it seemed no matter how hard you tried not to do something, you always ended up doing it anyway. And in Kylie's case, she always ended up getting herself in trouble. Lifting her head, she wiped away the tears that had been sliding down her cheeks, and turned on the fan next to her bed. THe cool air blowing over her body, as she curled up ontop her covers, reaching up to turn off the light and just stared at the other wall for awhile. Praying silently that whatever Adam did decide.....it wasn't to make her leave....and while she knew now he wouldn't ever strike her...if the punishment ended up being made to leave....she would rather be beaten then that.....
With the free time she had now, the grapevine seemed to be working marvelously. Information slipped down the line to reach the shy leopard and she couldn't help the natural instinct to go check on Kylie. She knew perfectly well that Mommy Patsy was the sweetest, most wonderful person most of the time.. unless you did something wrong and then heaven help you. Luckily, Val had never been on the wrong side of Patsy's nature since she did her best to follow the rules. There had been that minor issue with being around Gabby back in Salem, but Jessica had been the one to warn her. So, she only went around Gabby when Patsy wasn't likely to hear about it.
After all, when someone was nice to her, she wasn't going to be mean and ignore them. It just wasn't her thing.
At any rate, Val was in her what she considered to be sleepwear: the t-shirt that Valcrist had gotten her and some blue cotton shorts. Creeping to Kylie's door, she gave a soft knock before slipping inside, with or without the okay. Those chocolate browns took a minute to focus in the dark room before she could make out Kylie's form on the bed.
"Kylie? You okay? I heard something happened and you got in trouble." The slight southern twang was likely to give away exactly who she was as she made her way over to the bed to sit on the edge and put a hand on the other woman's shoulder.
She was simply there, offering an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on. She'd decided after the night in the park that Kylie might make a good friend and had put her into that category in the little filing cabinet in her mind.
The first thing Kylie thought when her door was knocked on and opened, and someone came in, was that it was time for her punishment. She cringed, eye's squeezing tightly shut, untill she heard that soft southern accent, and slowly lifted her head. looking to see Val sitting at the edge of her bed, and that hand comming to rest on her shoulder.
Nodding her head, she shifted untill her head rested against the leopards leg, and sniffled softly. "...I don't know what happend...i felt like i had to go...but the next thing i knew MJ was carrying me out side and yellin at me, and then Patsy got in the car and told me i was grounded to my room...till Adam decides what to do with me..."
She let out a little choked sob, and burried her face against the older girls leg "I don't wanna be sent away...i like it here...."
Andrea was late to the Horde house. Why? Because there were a few more things she wanted to pick up. Word travels a bit fast when you were apart of a close net Family like the Horde and so Andi had to provide goodies. So with a ton of bags in tote, she bee-lined right for Kylie's room, using her back and booty to open the door.
"Okay, hail hail the snow leopard's here with goodies for Ky!"
There was another scent in the room, one she recognized from on the Yacht but has yet to have a face with the scent. Turning around she caught sight of the other leopard and lips curled into a smile.
"Well hello, you must be Valarie, Nimir-Ra spoke of you and now I have a face with the scent. I'm Andrea, most call me Andi or Patsy nicknamed me Pants, either one."
She rubbed her cheek to the leopard's ownbefore flopping on Ky's bed. And smiling to her. Nuzzling Ky's cheek as well.
"Ok I brought magazines, puzzle books, chips, Godiva chocolates, M&M's peanut and plain, Reese's peanut butter cups, Mountain Dew, Snickers, Tiffany white gold bracelet, two Donna Karen outfits and a Prada purse."
All bags were moved over towards her and her fingers combed along his locks. What better way then to cheer her up by chocolates, junk food and fashion.
"I know I am just as new to the Horde as you but the jest I get from everyone else is, Adam is a peaceful and non-abusive Leader kind of like my Aunt and Uncle were, I'm sure his decision will not to have you leave. He is a fair man. But to have you learn of your wrong."
Kylie sniffed and lifted her head when Andi bounced into the room with all those bags. Eye's widened, as the girl introduced herself to Val, then plopped down and told her what was in the bags. Her mouth actually dropped open a little as she sat up and knuckled at her eyes, rubbing away the tears and actually pulled free some of the chocolate to nibble at.
"So...I...wont be sent away? " She looked like she was afraid to hope for it. Kylie felt safe here. She felt like she was wanted, and actually had a real family. she didn't want to lose that. When Andi said she just had to learn her wrong, she nodded frantically. "I will. How do you stop from going to them when they call you? It was like i didn't have a choice ya know?"
Nibbling the chocolate, she looked from one leopard to the other, the look on her face showing very clearly she wanted to know.
Andrea shook her hair, in a no. She kept her voice calm she was never one to really raise it unless she had reason to. Maybe it was something to do with for the first twelve years of her life, she was without hearing.
"No, that's not at all what I am saying. I am saying from what I have heard from the others that Adam is a fair man and the Horde is made up of alot of individuals you can learn from. So sending you away, I don't feel he would do that. But...I have not met him nor do I know him. If you can do me one huge favor. When he does talk with you on your punishment, respect his decision. That will be you're best defense."
She smiled to her and her fingers remained within her hair.
"This is why you are in a Horde, you need to develop trsut in your Leads. They will guide you in the ways of being the animal to call. They are there to protect us. Being called is something you have no control over. But from what I gather, the vampire that called you was in the wrong as well. Let them handle it."
Kylie nodded. That made sence, and it was understandable. She kept her chin on her knees, even as she munched and listened to Andi. "I've met him...he's always been nice to me...and he seems like he's fair...I know he wouldn't send me back to my father.....i just don't want to be sent to switzerland or something..."
She sighed and rubbed at her eye's again. Nodding when she said to just accept what the decision was. She just hopped it wasn't something she couldn't handle.
Val gave that shy little smile that was so common for her and gently brushed a hand over Kylie's hair. That was when a familiar scent touched her sensitive nose and came jostling bags into the room. A slight nod of her head was given before returning the cheek rub greeting.
"Most people call me Val, or Vali.. except for Patsy, she calls me her Valkyrie."
A slight shrug. She looked nothing like a valkyrie and knew it, but who was she to argue with the Nimir-ra?
"It's nice to finally know what you look like." A slight blush since it was her own fault that she hadn't met this pard-sister.
At any rate, this little excursion was to cheer Kylie up, so she turned her attention to the chocolate munching woman. "Andi's right. Everything I've heard about Mr. Hunter has all been good things. And I know Mommy Patsy can be scary when she's upset, but it's because she cares and doesn't want to see us hurt. Sending you away wouldn't fix things."
At least, as far as Val knew, this was the truth. Of course, she'd never been on the wrong side of one of the leaders.. yet. She was quite sure that one of these days she might end up in exactly the same position as Kylie, waiting for the metaphorical axe to drop.
A glance inside one of the bags that Andi had brought and she looked over at the other two women. "What kind of magazines? And can I have some of the chocolate?"
This was like a slumber party, she supposed. Not that she'd ever had one or been to one, but it seemed pretty damn close to her. And Kylie already looked like she was cheering up a little bit. At least she wasn't in tears anymore, that was a good sign. Right?
Kylie smiled to Val, and pushed the chocolate towards her. still nibbling her own peice and nodded. Thinking about what she'd just said about Patsy. She sighed quietly. "I don't think she likes me very much...but maybe that was just cause she wasn angry at me right then...."
Kylie hopped that was the case. She liked Patsy...she hopped the woman still liked her...even if Kylie had fucked up. Peeking into the bag with the magazins, she started to look through them....and ended up distracted by the word search book. "I love these things...only puzzles i can manage to actually finish"
