Eyes watched the clock on her laptop as the cab pulled up to the building. She felt helpless... weak, frail. "Okay miss, that'll be seven fifty nine... or would you be needing ride home as well?" Anna's redish brown's met the cab drivers eyes in the rear view mirror... a cab driver asking for her ride home? She quickly shook her head and paid him the money, leaving him the change as well. "No thanks..." She closed the lid of the laptop and slid it into her black jansport pack, slipping her board behind her back between the straps of the arm straps. The building looked dead... cold, empty. Anna took in a deep breath. Why did coming here this time feel so... wrong? She hadn't heard a voice for at least a whole day. But this heavy feeling was dragging her around. Black setcher shoes climbed the steps to Dr. Hayes office... walking up to the receptionists desk. Stephanie wasn't there... A brow rose then fell. That was weird... Stephanie wouldn't miss a chance to shot Anna a look. She looked over her clothing just to make sure she looked presentable. She wore a brown tank top with a white over long sleve shirt, and a pair of light blue hip hugger flares. Not bad for a teenager just trying to pass her tests to graduate... Which didnt seem to be going to well. She walked up to the doors that lead into Dr. Hayes office, hesitating for a small second. Pale knuckles raised up to known three times. She stepped back and waited. Just like entering into someone else home, walking in... even after knocking, was rude if not invited. __________________
