ViAshesToAshesiV: This was what he had been missing, the dark passenger roared with triumph and something flared to life inside him. Neon blue eyes seeming to flame in the darkness as those generous lips curled into a cruel smile. He had tried to leave this side of him behind, to bury it beneath the distractions of love and family, but this immediate rush of joy as he caused her pain thrilled the happy hitchhiker and made a fierce joy rage through him. Her power pushed out at the Earth and without hesitating he plunged towards her, running a few steps before leaping at her with a mangled growl ripping through his throat. His beast continued to thrash her causing further damage and as he moved power flowed over him as easily as water trickling downstream, skin on his hands moved like silk, bones crunching and reforming until in seconds claws emerged from within those human depths and those claws slashed at her face. Vengence Burns:The wolf! It ripped at her and the earth did not call. She cried out as he attacked her soul What little of it was left. Screaming was heard as she gripped her hair, face exposed to watch as those claws cut across her beautiful features. Rivets of blood sprang from the long claw marks. She opened the marks between herself and Dakota, making the woman feel what he was doing, what his wolf was doing, her pain. "She will go with me! I tell you this!" Lilith screamed at his face. Her words slurred with her lips broken and nearly ripped off. "I will pull her into my death!" Blood spat at his lily white skin. "I will make her scream, and I will make her die with me. You wish that? Wish to have another woman's blood on your hands. Mi Alma." Lilith laughed lightly. Calling her whips of flame, she lashed out at Ash, there was no reason she'd go down without a fight. "She will call out to you as Cassandra had!"
Anyone could tell when Kota was bothered by something. Her routines were that she ran at lest 8 miles a day, 4 in the morning and 4 after dinner had settled. But when she spent most of her day running the Pack lands then it was because she had a great deal of stuff on her mind. After dinner she had gone out for a run, not telling any one but Memphis where she was going. When she had gotten back, she had kicked off her shoes, striped out of her work out cloths and in to a bathing suit. Laps in the pool would be a alternative to sweating her ass off in this tropical humidity.
Some in the pack acted as if it was just another day, coping better with the lose of a pack mate better then others maybe. But at times it made her want to scream. She had seen what happened to Elsa! Had laid her hands upon that girl and saw, and felt the pain she went though when she died, hear her last words and it was like a stab in the heart! No the pack would not forget her... and they would have their revenge on the bastard that had ripped the life right out of her body. She was about to hit the water when that violet surge of pain ripped though her body sent her to her knees!
The scream leaving her lips Could shatter glass! So much happened all at once! She saw Ash! Though burning eyes she saw him clear as day! The voice in her head was Lilith's, the callous bitch feeding that pain along the woven spiders webs that connected their minds! Every shield came crashing down with the bruit force of it! She hurt! A searing pain as if someone had swung a base ball bat at her head. She had enough bad dreams locked away in the depths of her psychi, the were of death, brutally massacred bodies; fear and lost hope and the pain of the breath being snatched from your lungs and the light ripped from your eyes! She could deal with those images for those people no longer suffered. Some had their strings cut to soon in life but they were not suffering any more!
What she saw was a living woman! Someone dear to the man she called friend and Ulfric! She felt the pleasure that Lilth took in that knowledge and wanted to hurl the contents of her stomach on to the ground! The woman's name resonated, bounced like a ball off the walls of her mind. " ASH PLEASE! " Every moment that bitch drew breath was an eternity of pain! She could not breath! Every breath was forced, a fish on dry land starving for the one thing it needed to survive!
Evie hadn't left her guest bedroom more than a handful of times after Kalika had paid her and Ash a little visit. Being violated like that ... no. If she thought about it, she got nervous and embarrassed, but more than anything else, angry. Her lack of contact with others was the reason behind her shock as she felt Ash open the marks. She hadn't even known he was gone, and suddenly, she could feel her shields coming down like water slipping through her hands. Ashes! It didn't take a genius to figure out what he was doing. Mister Hero was fighting Lilith on his own. Possibly laying his life down to kill her. The realization jolted Evie, had her on her feet and out of the tomb that she had made of the guest bedroom.
Half-way down the hall, she was bowed over, the feeling of Kalika toying with Ash. No, no no no! Not her again! The telemetric was almost in a panic, hugging the walls as she cried out. Who could help her? You can't fight something if you can't touch it. And then, his words. His voice. GET DAKOTA!! PUT HER WITH THE PACK. TRY TO USE ELSA'S MUNIN! At that exact moment, Evie heard Dakota's screams from outside. Stumbling down the stairs, Evie was already screaming at the top of her lungs.
"EVERYBODY GET OUTSIDE! NOW! NOW!"
She was running through the house as fast as she could, not half as fast as a lycanthrope, naturally, but faster than some. It was the yoga, probably. Not to mention the sheer terror and adrenaline pumping through her veins.
"GET THE FUCK OUTSIDE! WE NEED TO USE ELSA'S MUNIN!" She burst through the doors that led to the back yard, bare feet pounding the ground until she reached Dakota. Skidding to a half, Evie felt her feet trip, sending her to Kota's side and scraping her knees beneath her grey sweats in the process. She didn't even feel it as she grabbed onto Dakota, panic in her grey eyes. She wasn't pack, she had no munin. But she wasn't going to watch her friend, or someone she wanted to be her friend, die this way.
Turning back to the house, she screamed again, "HELP!!!"
:: Pounding footsteps rushing through the house had awoken the country boy who had slid into a deep sleep wrapped in the warmth of the bodies of the pack so close to him. The scents of each body filled the room with a diverse collage of auras and scents. Of course the sudden scream of Evie had Dylan sitting straight up in the bed. Sleep blinked away from the pale blue eyes in a moment. The ex hunter's mind trying to wrap around the situation. The bodies that filled the large bed were pushed with the calloused hands they should have been up by now. Alex, Lalina, Oliva, Gabe, Coyote, and Mahina the final two had still needed the heat of the pack. Saying nothing to them he was out of the bed.::
:: The steel dog tags and black jocky shorts hanging low on the hairless torso. The wolf within had gotten stirred into a frenzy. Someone was attacking the pack and it couldn't do anything about it. Dylan knew that the Freki and Skoll would be on their way soon, probally beating him out there so he didn't bother trying to find anyone just got to Kota. The two human women kneeling on the cement near the pool were the only things that mattered in the dark night. Fire that burned from the inside out. The lycan body moved like liquid pouring himself out the door the strong arms sliding around the smaller woman. pinning her arms against her side. The heat of the beta's power opened upon her like the heat of the desert sun. His body held the scents of all those he had been cuddling with just moments before.::
:: His first friend was in trouble and even though they had grown further apart the months since she met up with Memphis and took a strong role in the pack. He still loved her like family and would never let whatever was doing this to her drag her away. She was drawn tight against his chest his head turning just enough to nuzzle the stubble coated jawline to slide against her skin. Waiting for the rest to come. He would relase her to Memphis or Cypress when one of the two arrived, but for the brief moment it was just him and Kota knowing it would not take long for the rest to appear::
Olivia was half in a daze the screams of some one pulling her from the warmth and safety of the pile of pack bodies. Screams she heard in her dreams. Screams she did not recognize but they were screams none the less. Eyes opened and she sat up as the door closed. Her heart raced and her gut twisted. deep breaths in and out she took as she wiggled her way out from under the human blankets.
Bare feet hit the floor as she moved quickly, causiously out of the room listening hearing more screaming about the munin. she swalloed hard and moved faster trampeling down the stairs weraing nothing more then a pair of short shorts for sleeping and a sports bra. Warren and Loke had told her when in a puppy pile for healing skin to skin contact is always the best.
She followed her nose and caught wind of Dylan and... Kota. Her heart raced as she moved through the door into the back yard seeing cota on the ground, in Dylans arms and another person whom she hadent formaly met yet. She hadent known theses people long and some she didnt know at all but they were her family now and family is Everything to Olivia...
She didnt say anythigng at all not one word just rushed over to the trio on the ground and Slipped her own arms around them getting in where she could fit in. the fresh brisk smell of snowy pine air mingled with the texas wolf showering Dakota with the soft cool air of her own power, witch wasent as extream as most wolves but hey she tried.
It had only been seconds from when olivia had touched Dakota before it happened. A cool wind blew around them easily. Whisping the fly away hairs gently around Olivias head. "Oh shit..." she said softly gulping hard. her heart raced harder. It was the Munin... Her eyes were distand. hollow, empty. Like Olivia wasent home any more.. It was only her body a conduate for the munini that surrounded Kota.
-She awoke instantly, a jolt from her body as she sat up quickly, hearing the screams outside, coming from the familiar voices of Kota and Evie. Many pack members were asleep, but also some were up, including Dylan not finding him in the bed with her. Quickly, she pulled her shorts and shirt on, trampling down the stairs until the backdoor swung open, allowing the ocean breeze to circulate around the house.-
-There was a small group forming around Kota and Evie; Dylan, Mahina, Coyote, Olivia, almost everyone was there, almost. Evie had screamed "we need to call Elsa's munin," but how? No one had taught her how to call a dead spirit, but if it would help, then she will learn instantly. She witnessed Dylan holding Kota down as the fiery presence of the dead vampire Lilith flowed from her body, from her lips, her words, surrounding the pack members like a swarm of bees. Even deader than dead, the vampire was still so strong, and the power that poured from Kota had wrapped around the tiny, lithe frame, around her neck, too unbearable to even breathe. No, she had to focus. She never met or seen Elsa, how could she call the munin? The only thing that the little wolf could do was allow her natural hibiscus scent and beastly power drown Kota, entwining with Dylan's own deserty aroma, letting the sweet fragrance fill Kota to the brim, caressing her tender flesh, embracing her, wrapping her in a warm, soft blanket. Her eyes closed as such power leaked from her body, floating on the life-threatening atmosphere, concentrating on the ever present spirit of Elsa.-
Alex heard the scream from outside, all the way around the front, had seen Dakota go into the house eariler. As soon as the scream was heard, wrench was dropped next to the Camero and the little she wolf raced around the side of the house, sliping sliding in the grass as she rounded the corner, and onto the deck, joining into the group that was curled around Dakota. She could taste the Munin in the air. The power of the others as she added her own to it without thinking. Didn't even think about the fact that she only really knew one of them. That she'd only met Evie and Dylan. And only seen Lani asleep on the couch.
BLond curls fell forward over her face as she let her beast move in with theirs, she would help her family......And without even realizing that she did consider them family now.....
Mahina stirred from a nightmare, sweating and breathing hard right when she heard footsteps running downstairs and screaming coming from down there. Removing Coyote's arm from her side and Vinny's hair from her face, she slid off the bed. Half crazed with tears she was down and outside. Dressed in only a tank and someone's boxers.
"Kota!"
Ever since the night she and Coyote faught Lilith she felt more of a need to be near her. As Dylan was holding her, Mahina went running over and stroked the dakota's hair but then the unleash power of Lilith casted Mahina down on her butt with that familiar ache to her wrist. Scurrying to her feet she made her way over to Lani, the Munin was thick in the air and to do what came natural, by instinct she took Lani's hand in hers and thought of her omega sister. Thick mohawk of bright pink and decorated in many tattoos, Mahina could visually see her face in her mind and focused on her, on her scent on blanketing the rest and the air with her power scented of pineapple and of the surf. Having everyone taste the sweet nectar and smelling the salt. It was all she could focus on.......Elsa.
Evie was the first to her side! She had been so mad at her, and the sweet girl knew it. Yet she was here trying to get the others to come help! Kota felt arms around her, Memphis and Dylans arms, Evie soft touch, Mahina's petting, Olivia and Alex both who owed her no allegiance in friendship yet all came as Pack! Her insides were on fire! to draw breath took more strength then her body held. Clutching hands reached out franticly to anyone, any thing that could anchor her in place and give her grounding.
Every one around her held a warmth inside that she had felt before,... but never this intense! The presence of the wolf rubbed against her body, they swam in her head, took the blows of pain for her and formed a wall of golden energy that she could see behind her eyes! Faces she knew met, those who had lived on the pack lands back in Salem far before their time and others that had come with each member of the pack all flashed one after the other across the divide between this world and that of the restless dead.
She wished Ash would just kill the bitch! Rip her apart and end this all! Every second lasted hours in her head. Lilith had memories to share before she died, The woman she mentioned to Ash brought pain to the wolf. Facing that fear, risking death Kota threw herself in to that one name and hunted though the vampires sick twisted mind. Silver bars, burning flesh, the maddening pain of being held in a body that rejected you under the light of the moon! She suffered so but lived! How can you help someone so far away and you don't know where far away is?!
She was sinking in to that death! The pain had been in part forgotten! Her body laying in warm loving arms safe and sound. The whispers in her head she had been trying to push away for months were as inviting as a warm cup of cocoa in front of the blazing fire in the dead of winter. She embraced them for once, stopped pushing them away in fear and let them in! Accepting what she was, who she was, she could not hate herself for ever.
Ground turned over on itself, churned and chopped till the fertile sod and grass came together as one. The fresh scent of wood trail after the passing rain filled the air. Icy chill fringed in the passion and power of the wolf lashed out at the night and covered those around her! Elsa's face, her pink fuzzy hair and that mug that made you do a double take was in her head. She used them, the dead, the memories of Odin's ravens to banish the Vampire, push her back down that hole and force her out!
Coyote heard the scream from his nap with Mahina and others. He had been snoozing a lot more and since the near death experience he's been quiet. Brooding still, but he didn't snap with his loud mouth. He wanted to be stronger. The vampire was hurting Kota again?! If Coyote could he would have been right there with Ash to rip that leech's throat out. But with everyone scrambling, so did Coyote, the red wolf howling to rally any other members of the pack. He was a singer at heart, and a howl would echo across the metaphysical planes. Not commanding as an alpha but when the pack is in trouble news spreads fast. Though Coyote did not know Elsa well, she had been pack and calling her out from death would come easy having been healed by Munin once when he had a tangle with his old pack. "You can beat that bitch, Kota!" Only thing he said once arriving with that thick Midwestern accent, she needed the prep talk. His scent of the train tracks would stronger, if he could give Kota a freight train then he would. Even the wind of a twister that had been beating in his head. Send Lilith to the otherside and set Kota free!
