Some people try tell themselves lies in order to make the medicine go down. Sugar coat the truth, sprinkle little white lies atop of the truth to make it more palatable. Faith pretty much said "fuck it" to such methods and admitted her own shortcomings when realizing them. She swore she'd never read the god awful trash publication that was the Tattler. And yet there she was with a copy under her arm as she put the finishing touch on the delivery order. Faith. Just.Could.Not.Help.Herself. Yup. All in one word increments. It was a simple gift basket really. Nothing fancy, nothing frilly or even covered in sparkles. A blue plush bunny with a police cap on his adorable little head. A box of pink doughnuts and coffee. Something of the most god awful concoction known to men. If there was a gun pointed at her head Faith wouldn't have been able to pronounce the full name of the drink. Vantakavecoola....yadablah blahblahyadaKaplahyada. It was big, with whipped cream, sprinkles and syrup that she could have sworn glowed in the dark. But hey, Ash was worth the trouble. The delivery boy got an extra tip to make the delivery toot sweet. Attached was a note. Also on pink paper. Hey when you're being a dick, might as well go all out. At least the ink wasn't glittery. "On behalf of the super safe citizens please accept this humble addition to your lovely stable of Bunny Ho..."Friendly Companions for Hire." His name is Officer Muffin, hope you two get along well. -Faith. P.S. Included please find some Coffee and Doughnuts. You like the pink ones right?" __________________
