Lorissa sighed as she looked down at her phone, she really didn't want to make the call, but she also didn't want to lose her job either, if that was at all possible. Picking up the cell phone the young girl dialed the office and waited as it rang and rang.
No one picked up, damnit!
She sighed as the aswering machine clicked on repeating one of those old fashioned 'leave a message at the tone' blah, blah, blah. "Elijah... It's Lorissa, I'm so sorry I haven't been to the office these past few days, but I had, well, kind of a medical fiasco, and my dad died so I had to fly back to the states to bury him." There was a long pause, as Lori tried to calm her nerves so she didn't just break down. "I didn't want to leave this kind of message, but I guess it's better you know then think I just quit, if I still have a job that is. Anyway, I'll be back in the office tomorrow, and I guess I'll see you then. Bye."
She frowned as she hung up, well, she'd done her best, now all she could do was hope she had a job in the mornng.
